    You flash BIOS to that programmer, plug programmer into mobo and boot. You can boot either from that programmer or you can flash BIOS without starting mobo..

    If mobo has just BIOS problem, it can be saved with this.

    It's uni spi for dfi and usb for any other mobo.

    Basically all existing boards that have SP1 port onboard (similar to onboard USB port (wher eyou plug bracket) but slightly smaller.)

    this thing worked like a charm for my x58 th3h8 and my p35 ut...but the p45 must of fried something cus it did not work.
    if you ask me its better then dfi rma if you have bios issues.
    a must have for the die hard dfi mb owners
