I'm curious where this ends up going as well. I designed my home PC around the T3, and definitely don't want my components dieing from leaks that kinda seem inevitable.

I currently have a T3, so far it is not leaking. But I would Love to be able to replace it before it does start leaking on my current new build. I heard great reveiws on it before I bought it and did not see any posts on it having problems until after I purchased it.
I hope info comes out soon on the new one soon myself too.

Sweet merciful God... and it survived? Those parts are either Jesus or Juggernaut.
They are out of stock and that is the old version like we have by the looks of it. I'm not sure what the new revision is going to look like yet.

Thanks again for your patience.

Cheers to Brian, just when I thought they wouldn't step up, they go and do beyond the decent thing.
I will be purchasing the new delrin T3 from them as soon as they go on sale.
PERFECT!!!!
lol, no, not perfect. He did the right thing and I'm very happy about it, but I have not seen it yet, I'm still out a motherboard, and although very easy at the end (to PC's credit), this was a long RMA process.
I'm not complaining, I'm very happy and appreciative that a replacement is coming. Perfect is a little bit of an overstatement.![]()

well, unfortunately, my t3 started leaking too. good thing theres nothing below it. except a rad, and 2 fans that ive yet to get around to giving power. noticied it because my video card has a spinning air bubble trapped in it. at least i can keep this thing running till the replacements become widely available.
and yeah any single large "crack" on the right fillport is just a flaw the chinese didnt do anything about fixing. but cracks at the screws, yup thats the leak alright.
and NaeKuh. way to remind me of "The Textinator" IT'S NAWT A RUMAH!!1!2!
Sooo..... Where are we with status - I'm been following this whole sordid mess since Nov. and waiting for it to be resolved.
I been putting a personal build on hold cuz the typhoon will really fit the bill - so to speak. When is version II expected to be available - update?

I'd consider taking that replacement off you for a discount (jedi mind trick)...
But I already have sitting on my desk:

I got 2 replacement T3 from primochill and congrats for Brian getting them to me but both are leaking from the bottom left pump bracket screw hole on the T3.
It seems the T3 is cracking around that hole after 3 days use and the coolant is escaping from the tiny cracks.
I don't know if it's pump vibration or pump weight but that's what's happening.
One T3 is wrapped in bubble wrap waiting for confirmation from Primochill to post it back and the other is in my setup with kitchen roll underneath it catching the leaking fluid as I need my PC for use.
So goodbye to the T3 and can someone recommend the next best reservoir not from primochill that I can buy for my setup that will still use my D5 pump?
Thanks for the reply DB.
What accessories would I need to go with that res?
I will have to walk away from the T3, as much as I love it, I just don't have any confidence in it anymore.
you buy it alacart so you buy the resevoir/pump base then choose the size tube then choose a top for it. I set it up last night in a test loop with the input going into the top of the res and was amazed at the flow. I might run it that way even with the turbulence as it looks cool. I know it is the wrong way but sometimes you have to get mavericky with it.

that is some sick patterning on your stuff there db...i am doing something similar with a hex pattern.
what did you use for yours?
FYI, the Koolance pump top ships with the coupler, all you need is the acrylic res tube and top for it.

So, with the Koolance top on the d5 your input is pulled from the res ..... is there another input on the top which supplies water to the res? Also I have the mcp655 in this scenario you would mount the pump vertical so the res is vertical, does this negatively effect performance or the life of the pump? Thanks for your help, I have been looking for a good D5 res combo for some time.

Thanks for the advice DB but after adding up the cost of the new res it is not feasible at the moment.
I have decided to give Brian and primochill another chance as he assures me a newer revision out next week will be as perfect he can get it.
