Well, since installing these - i get a grey screen and crash, with BCCode 124, on my pair of HD4850's. Others i know have experienced this with the 5xx0 series as well - so it's clearly a software issue. What's annoying is everything was perfectly stable, now i've got to spend hours uninstalling, deleting, re-installing etc just to get it to WORK again :/

    8GB MSI Radeon R9 390X (1080 Mhz Core, 6000 Mhz Memory)
NZXT H440 Case with NZXT Hue+ Installed

Yep - uninstall using the ATI CIM, then reboot, run driver sweeper, reboot, install the 9.11's, get a black screen, shout a lot, hard reset, reboot, try again, black screen, bang fist against desk in rage, hard reset, find out the drivers and CCC have installed perfectly normally (apart from blackscreening).

I wouldn't bother with the 9.12's, even the 9.12 hotfix didn't fix the odd grey screen issue.

    Hi all,

So listen, im having problems with my XFX 5870. When i installed the Catalyst 9.11, every game y tried to play it ends with a crash of the system.

Well, i though it would be solved with the Catalyst 9.12, but i was wrong. The games crashes.

    I took a photo:

    Any solution? i´m really desperate.

    Thanks a lot.

Try running the rest of your system at stock. Also try and give the GPU some extra voltage (with msi afterburner for example), locking the card in 3d clocks could also be worth a try.

Just install the hotfix, it has more fresh drivers than 9.12 itself.

i was having this problem before and it was due to some bad memory. one stick was completly bad. did a fresh install of everything and i have never got that crash problem with my xfx hd5770. With every game i thrown at it, it never crashed once with that screen, when it crashed it was me setting too much optmistic memory overclock on my gpu.

Well these are with perfectly fine stock sticks of Corsair XMS2-8500's (checked) and the HD4850's are not overclocked at all (1Mhz more and they crash with the 9.11's). Single or Crossfire, doesn't matter, the same thing happens.
