I think it's related to AMD, there are only a few better AM3 scores on the bot that were made on AMD. Might be driver or OS related of course as Brian pointed out.

The AMD CPU was definitely part of it.
These are the two top 965 BE AM3 scores, one with a single card and one with a dual... A core i7 will get around that 6.1ghz CPU score at 4.4ghz...

Why don't you post a 2x,xxx PCMark 05 score? You can get 20+ global points for that since your best posted PCMark score isn't high enough to get any global points...

Yeah, I scanned those results after Brian posted his results, there's another good one made by u22, he used a 955.
Aquamark is not the strong benchmark for AMD for sure.

Did anyone check out the new ATI drivers, 9.12? Should give a big boost from what I can tell from hicookie's scores.

And by the way, your GTS 250 scores are strong, kicks my 8800 GT's ass... -.-

Saw that... looks like the boost is going to be huge!
Where can I DL it? I guess its still a Beta? ATI has the 9.11s out...
Wonder if it will help the 5870 much?

I found a link to a leaked version. It's in German, but I think you'll understand!

Download seems to be slow though. Official version should be released in a few hours.

    Thanks guys

I need some time on air prior to go to SS or Ln2. Getting use to this Asus and the X48 platform first, I never used one before.

The E8600 is good Linux but needs extreme cooling to shine I think. It loves volts so probably it will get 5.6 to 6Ghz if feed properly we will see.

Honda my chiller is the -8oC we have outside I just push my bench station out and let the weather do it's part. The temps on the cards with 1.40vgpu is around 10oC on idle.

I do have waterblocks and 2 x 4870's but one is on the bench station with the block and this one is here on air. I'll soon put the REX on the bench station for some real numbers.

This weekend the plans are to bench the Q9550 and get some points, then PCMark05 with both Q9650 and Q9550 and after that I will start the REX.

I flew into Flagstaff in august of '01 when I could fly with my fly fishing gear (hooks, and whatnot) and we drove to Pinetop for a week there - Flagstaff is a great place for sure... had some great doughnuts at a place right by traintracks there

perhaps anyone can enlight me regarding the P6T WS professional here? have it for 3/4 days now, but cant seem to get a half decent bclock, it keeps freezing at 220-225, or the mouse gets all jumpy and the multipliers keeps jumping about.

    Some settings:

Ioh vcore ( stock 1.1 ) tried up to 1.4
    pci-e from 110 to 120 mhz
VTT all the way up to 1.65V

Anything im missing here? els i feel obligated to just return it and buy something els, i need a mobo which can do 235-240bclock
Tried a bunch of bios's aswell, but only 0804 for some strange reason seems to reconize my W3540 properly, the rest i cant see the uncore / cant get mem higher then 1066mhz

Tried under air and my singlestage ( -40 / -45 ) , but that didnt really help either.

I dont really want to try another classified to find out it has a the coldboot problem again, but a mobo with really low bclock isnt what i want either :/

    PiFast twks

Sorry I'm no help with that platform thijs

Hey guys I posted another 15 points today with the Q9550 wPrime1024m.

I need some tips via pm about how to shave off 20ms on PiFast. I've used WinXp_Sp2. Dunno if this will benefit from maxmem or set priority to cache etc like spi.

Sorry thijs, I can't help you with this either. Did you ask in the P6T thread already?

Jor3lBR, you posted a very nice run on your REX, what batch is your CPU? Is it Q820, or Q822? How high did you set Vcore in BIOS?

Maxmem won't help for PIFast, priority will.
