Thanks bud. Yea, it looks great and performs well. The only downfall is the lack of slots and toolless bay support. Overall, very happy with it.

Really happy for you that this came out so well, and that everything seems to be working like a charm. And, I agree with taking some time to enjoy it.
Thanks Shazza. I like the way the T3 looks with the LEDs too. It has such a nice glow to it.

Well decided to get back into Crysis for a bit. It looks like I'm doing about 40 FPS 1680x1050 on high settings. GPUs topped out at 45 PCB temps topped out at 50.

It did drop down to about 14 FPS when things got really hairy.

I'll post some real results this weekend.

Looking great Miller! That powder coating is really nice. I kinda wish I would have went this route too as spray painting is okay, but it chips pretty easy so I had apply several coats... and I still must be very careful with my build (no banging parts etc ). That res looks really nice too. Have you given any thought to somehow cutting the partitions out of the case? Don't get me wrong because it looks very nice now, I am just curious.

Also, we should LAN sometime and show up the event!!!

Congrats on an awesome build. Since the weather is kinda crappy here in Michigan I think you were very successful with your outside pictures.

O yea, your not that far from me. We have had a few sunny days, so I was trying to get out during those days.

Are you referring to the HD drawers? I was thinking about that, but I would only have room for 1 HD then instead of 3. They also help to hide the wiring stuffed in the back of the case. I would have to build another panel to hide everything.

If you want to strip the case back down and get it powdercoated, let me know. That place I had it done at is over in Walled Lake, so its shouldn't be too far for you. They will only do black or white, so you will still need to keep your red parts.

    OC time.

I ran a base line at stock settings first. 15mins in OCCT.

Something got screwed up with HW monitor it seems, so my SS is messed up. The temps stayed under 50 degrees on that test. I will have to figure out why HW monitor showed max of 128 and min of -32

Maybe it was everest, or does OCCT really not like it running?

OCCT tends not to like things like HW monitor running at the same time...

Another try at this. This is 3.8 with turbo on. I'm pretty happy with that. It was just a quick 15 min test and it passed. Also, I just left the voltages on auto. I'll play around a little more tomorrow. I really do like this setup though. That EVGA P55 FTW is a really nice board.

I saw that warning and decided to ignore it. Might learn my lesson next time.

Yea, got my AMD box for that. Not a heavy hitter, but can't complain. I do need to get it running again though. I've been leaving it off due to electric bill getting a little high over the summer.

45 min run on OCCT. Clock is 3.6 using turbo boost it puts it up to 3.8. It passed with no errors. Ambients around 22 C for both runs.

Dude, how are you on sunday already? Are you sure your rig isn't so fast that you created a time machine to fling you into the future?

I love it. I've no issues with it at all. (knock on wood).

If you haven't upgraded yet, I would highly recommend you do so.

I love it. I wish the release candidate would stay live forever and just be community supported, making it the first GNU/Windows environment that doesn't blow (I'm talking to you, Win98)

That's the good way to bring a pc to it's knees.
And thanks for the Crysis info. When I get this colossal rig of mine running, I'm interested to see how my numbers are going to look.

What's the weather going to be like for Sunday?

I hope nice so I can paint those PCI slot covers.

Yea, Not an issue with it at all.

You should be fine with Crysis. I think they consider a GTX295 to equal 2 GTX260s. So 2 285 should bring it to its knees.

Are you considering adding another 295 to the party?

I don't think so. I'll probably just wait for the new 300 series or I'll ride this one out till the second release of DX11 cards happen.

The single GTX295 can handle anything I got and probably most anything I don't have atm.

Not to mention the block and card are still not cheap.

It was a nice day out, so took the PCI covers out and slapped some paint on them.

I used some black tape on the DVD burner last night to get it to blend in. I installed it last night and forgot to take photos.
