Is that the max bclk?
Try with 19x multi. Odd multis seems to be better for i7
Also turn off turbo mode, maybe this will give a boost to your bclk
4.4Ghz is ok for aircooling, for higher frequency you will need another way of cooling![]()
air have i told u i'm on air? i would love to try other cooling

It doesnt matter what the cooling is. The fact is that the board is limited at arround 220bclk from BIOS. I tried my CPU a few weeks ago for max bclk with 12x multi and 1/2 cores enabled. Here are the results:
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=697938
http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=697709
But this is all using eleet. From BIOS 222 is bootable, but when i rise to 223 it ALWAYS boots at default settings...
Well.. here are my results so far with the new bios from Shamino:
Max boot from Bios
Before: 215
Now: 221
Max bclk on windows (with E-leet)
Before: 223
Now: 233
But I'm a noob OC'er, in better hands those results could certainly go higher. I used both multis 19x and 21x and the results where the same, so with some fine tunning I could reach more, I'm sure the bottle neck here is not the bios or the hardware, it's me :P
PS: I used PCI-e @ 113~115.

Ain't that just the final revision of the S222 (759) with the B2B CAS option added?![]()
S61A Updates:
* Improves Bootup Bclock
* Adds B2B CAS Delay
Any changes in this BIOS? Someone tried it? It was the same for S610 and 618 improved bclock but they both were not able to boot over 222 again...
@Viper.Br I`m sure with the old one you can also reach 221 from BIOS, may be with other settings, but with the newer one it seems that 222MHz barrier still cant be break.
I do hope I can test it soon. ATM my classified is just idling on my desk as I got no cooling for my cpu (will have 2 singlestages by mid-october).
I'm able to boot into windows at 236 with the new S61A bios at 106 PCI-E. Anything beyond 220 used to give me issues.
Are you saying that this BIOS is finally able to boot at high bclk? 236 is very good, what about the preveous versions S610, S618 max boot 220?
I have an problem with Classified motherboard... Case is, that there is no video signal with HD3870X2 videocard.(Everything seems to work, onl without picture)
I had same problem on my DFI T2RS PLUS. Phoenix bios bug?
Although on Rampage Extreme it worked fine.(This means that card is okey)
I'll give it a shot with the S61A.

Masska, no... Post code show-s that everthing is working perfectly.
221 was max before, I tried 225 with the new bios, loaded windows fine, so I have not checked to see what max bootable is, but at least this bios improves boot up B-clock! More interested in trying out B2B CAS![]()

Just saw you couldn't wait right?![]()
Anyways.. I tried S61A and Holly Mother of Jesus.. I'm able to boot now with 233 bclk straight from bios![]()

(haven't tried more yet) Congratulations Evga
The problem I'm facing now is that I can't get to windows (7 ultimate x64). I tried PCI-e 106~115 but my SATA II HD becomes extreme slow and.. I'm stuck. What should I do? What voltages or options should I tweak to bypass this PCI-e thing?![]()

After flashing to the 61A BIOS, I'm getting this message:
warning: Have option ROM can not be invoke (Vendor ID: 1095h, Device ID:3132h)
I also can't boot from my USB drive anymore and doesn't show up in the BIOS.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
