Yes, tried it, wouldn`t even load up. I`m wondering if it doesn`t like my board, running on Striker 2 Formula.

Since people use 32x Nehalem EX systems to run WPrime I don't see a reason why you shouldn't do it. Unless of course you will get problems with a NDA when you post scores.

Can you please run all 2D benchmarks? That will not give many points, but the golden trophies are well worth it!

I would say so as long as you check the box on hwbot for hardware which is not available through retail channels (eg. cherry picked samples, ES, hardware under NDA, etc).

He had discussions about cherry picked CPUs with hwbot staff, because he gets his CPUs from Intel, after that he refused to post his results on hwbot.
That's all I know, happened some time before Nehalem launched.

It would be really cool if Charles and Mike submitted some scores...

CPUs are in, first bummer is they won't work in my DFI
Missing microcodes. So I'm gonna try them in the GB next.. but it's the old Extreme that can't even do 210 BCLK so not much joy there.

I do not know whether they are unlocked, it's possible with the right bios (I guess I would need a classified to be sure). Right now there are 3 different batches out, and nobody really knows which ones are locked or unlocked. They don't work on most motherboards yet anyways, to date only Gigabytes and the evga (classified only?) will work.

Big thanks to chew and loony for being so helpful and patient.

Squeezed a little more and passed a guy with dual acards in raid_0 using my super talent mlc's Raw cpu and vga power.

Crabbed the 2nd place on the Q9650 category with 23.5k:

Jor3lBR has hit second in the Q9650 PCM 05 category as already mentioned above! Very nice!
Hondacity and mk-ultra have made some 3D runs, and the latter was able to achieve a new WR in 3DM Vantage in the 8800 GT 256MB category!
I made some easy points today by running some 2D benches at stock settings, just trying to get some information about the system and to know how stuff works on the AMD platform. I'm back to 20th in the team too.

So far I like my new system, it's running very cool and working with Phenom II and DDR3 is fun.
