what is the videocard?

Max blck was the same on two different CPUs and on different multis, so I'm assuming it's mobo limited, at least for now.

PCI-E was 110 MHz - didn't make any difference.

Max DDR2 speed - I couldn't put my ddr2 sticks in, they have some weird slots on maximus III Yotomeczek did DDR-2400 9-9-9-24 with this rig without much pushing. Memory is GOODRAM PRO, a Polish brand, Elpida Hyper based.

Video card is MSI GTX285 something, a non-reference design with a giant cooler with two small fans.

This is what I have so far:

Problem is I need 24.4K and my 4 SSD's are no match for the Acard's this guy is running.

I will need a good controler to use the cache in my favor istead of the ICH10 or some Acard's.

My problem now is on HDD - General Usage and HDD Virus Scan I'm getting 55MB/s and top 2 are above 180MB/s. Virus Scan is another one that there is no competition the numbers are huge

there is one setting in vista/win7 that kills performance...i forgot what it is...PLEASE HELP

also what is is your stripe size? 128k is optimum for 4ssds

Only tweak I did on SSD's was hdderase, then clean array raid_0, strip size 128k, partition aligned to 128k.

Those General HDD use and Virus Scan numbers are unreal compared to mine there must be a tweak for that

My drives are supertalent ultradrive me. I love those little things and they're pretty much the cheapest in their class when it comes to speed.

Good luck there I've had only bad luck today so far... topped my max valid and max pi with i7-870 but nothing more.

well it started really bad for me too
i broke off my cpu pot hold plate, i'm running like this for the moment, i'll try to do something temporary go on.
I've waiting for my pot to emtpy to not waste dice then to i'll resume later.

so far i tried some max valid, came 1blck short of my previous CPU. Will give it another shot, it's weird i've stopped with 2 different cpu at @ 249 and 248 maybe it's my settings idk.

Mobo have problems with high BCLK
CPU can do 212 at least on air
Great mobo but needs new BIOS or something ...

Hm.. having some trouble here.. I thought I could top my PCMark Score but somehow I can't. Got a system with w3520, 2x GTX 280, and 2x Supertalent Ultradrives here. Somehow I thought that would beat my last score with the 1 SSD. It doesn't. 18200 with the CPU at 4,3 (stupid GB board freezes at post >205...). Do I need moar CPU, moar GPU, or what. SSD tweaks all in place. Vista 64.

WTF..

Your Raid 0 performance should be way better tho. I measured something like 450MB/s read from my array on the GB.
