What is everyone that does sleeving photographers around here? Beautiful pictures of your work, I'm not sure what I like better; the sleeving or pictures of the sleeving!

My sentiments exactly! Superb work everybody! I've been lurking in this thread from the beginning, and I've constantly thought that about you guys. Just brilliant photography!

i know this reply is very late but i just want to add that you can also use an aluminum foil wrapped around the heatshrink and then heat it up with a lighter, that way it doesn't get too hot to melt the sleeves and wires and doesn't leave a burning mark/discolorization on the heatshrink

Looks like I'm going to have to bite the bullet. Never tried sleeving before but it sure looks sweet. Now to figure out what colors I'm going to use. Guess I've been lurking around here too long.....

On the 6-8pin Pci-E cables, does it matter in wich connector each cable goes?

Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless, like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow, or it can crash! Be water, my friend. (Bruce Lee)

Just call Farnell and all these places, they will give you hundred meters or more of each industrial-grade product (sleeve, shrink) if you want to have a lifetime supply

It's such a pity but I have to say these sleeves look poor. It is not about your worl - it's OK - but transparent sleeves

A matter of personal aesthetics really, this is the way it was until tight weave came along. All kind of styles make up the scene

kwscore: Others may criticize the sleeving, but ultimately, it's up to you and I think it looks fine. You did a good job with it, and while I think tighter weave looks better, yours certainly looks better than no sleeving.

Kwscore, I didn't mind your work. You did a great job, just the sleeves material could be better

hrm my pricing must be off then based off murdermod package pricing you could buy quite a few of the techflexkits ($15 vs $40/63), but semantics i can always argue there are more color options avaliable than mdpc

For my new project - HULK

Please excuse the pictures, they were done inside as it's pouring down with rain. Also, excuse the heatshrink imperfection as I couldn't get it even!

8pin Power (GOD DAYM THE GREEN IS AMAZING)

    Dual 6pin PCI-e cables

And the huge Python - 24pin Connector.
