I was thinking that you could move the power supply to the area directly above where it is now.

There is a extender cable like this you could use for the front mounted PSU. http://www.cablestogo.com/product.as...latedItem=true

I considered using this for some extra room on the bottom of the case.

http://www.coolerguys.com/llpe01.html Looks like it might be about 2-3in long.

I think you could mount the rad vertical just behind the drive bay cage. It would clear the factory fan controller, and you could conceal your hdd in front of the rad with fans pulling air from the front of the case. I am not sure if that is confusing.

It's nice to see your progress so far - I've always been a big fan (and lurker) with your previous builds very much. I have a v2000 that I'll be working with when I get back to school and I wanted to fit a 320 in the top... I was wondering if you could show me what that fitting would look like over the motherboard with push and push/pull if it's not too much trouble. I've been planning all summer but there's just so much that planning can do until the real thing is accomplished lol.

    Thanks! And more pictures!
Thanks for the kind words. I'll see if I get a chance to try the 320 for you tomorrow, but unfortunately I may be a bit rushed. Leaving early Wednesday for vacation and I haven't started packing yet!

its something you could make a feature of - lets face it - the evga board looks great, surround it with rads and all should be good

im loving the vertical rad idea, it would be so unique

    go for it i say!
Thanks, rjkoneill. Yeah, I like the EVGA board. Still not too sure about the vertical rad. I may save that for the A20.

as i said, not really the same as your build, but just encouraging you to do what you think will work the best...where's there's a will...

also...the wire management nearly killed me. there's just no room behind the l.l. main board.
Thanks, sheriff - looks like you did a good job on yours. I know what you mean about no room for cable management!!!!

Appreciate the link, Equinediver - I hadn't seen that post. I don't think I'll try making my own blocks just yet

And, not sure if I posted in your thread, as I've been sidetracked with the BP and Tiger Woods - but great build you've got planned!

Thanks for that link - would save me raiding the connectors from the A05 if I decide to go PSU in front.

Thanks for the link, Jonni. I'm now leaning towards rad(s) in the bottom - may even switch the PA140.3 to a 120.4 and save the fat one for another case. Still deciding

    This looks really interesting!

Perhaps try some diagonal radiator mounting. It seems like aligning everything and having everything straight is the norm...how boring.

    Hey mate,

No problem, we are hear to brainstorming about your project here. There are alot of process for creating a WC worklog and its not easy to anyone. Besides, it'll be my first WC worklog in XS. I'll start to make a small catalog for my hardware components in this week. After I gain some speed on my project, I'll open a worklog thread at his section and share my media and information for you.

I also appreciate your feelings and thoughts about my worklog.

    Cheers,
    Arthur

Unfortunately, no more pics for a few weeks! Off to Florida tomorrow, then to Scotland for several weeks for vacation. So, still no decisions, but I've got lots to think about, and some crazy ideas brewing.

    Florida = West Palm

Just finished packing the camera gear for the trip to Scotland. Will take a pic or two, if we don't get overwhelmed by the distillery tours!

hehe ... yep, have lived in West Palm for over 15 years, with a couple diversions - one to Australia for a few years, then Arizona more recently. But So Florida remains home base.

Thanks, guys. Still in Scotland - will be here for almost another two weeks. It's a beautiful country, and the people are very nice. We've had quite a bit of rain and wind, but today looks great.

So as not to clutter up the LC section , I started a thread in the photography section. Will update it with some more photos as we see interesting sights.
