    nice to know i can count on rude comments.

    so far i've only seen 1 person with 4ghz on the boxed cooler and that was with 13c ambient temps with his window open. my room is about 75f.

    my friend got a sl6wu last night and it won't go past 3750 no matter what he did.

    Nice OC Max. I'd like to see what that chip can do on water (if you still have your setup that is)

    I'm thinking of going the 3.0c route for my next upgrade.

    i don't have good ram in the rig right now so my timings are really bad. i scored 15,150 with a 9600pro 510/360 with chipspeed somewhere around 3750mhz. i really haven't had time to mess with this rig much.

    i might move my 9800pro over to see how it does in the next few days.

    Nice OC, my SL6WK would only do 3.7 on air, stable anyways.

    Show us where. Not all SL6WU or SL6WK overclock equal. You'll always have good ones and bad ones.

    If you have nothing more constructive to say, I suggest you don't reply at all.

    Man, I hate it when someone accomplishes something nice, and then gets bashed in return.
    // end rant.

    Nice oc Max. Think that 3.9Ghz is possible?

    I really think that the environment means more than ppl think... I thought about it a lot and i don't think a conclusion can be drawn that easy regarding steppings and OCing potetial. Considering that different stepping behave differently in diffrent motherboards andthe environment. I myself "run hot" so i usually have about 15 degrees at home + i don't mind fannoise so i can run my 2100+ @ 2600 mhz without mods infintely. The first person to test all the "good" steppings, on different motherboards with good burn-in and multiple resats is my role-model. I have tossed the gauntlet.

    thats true, my sl6wu only gets 3.6ghz stable. 250fsb fails prime at any voltage.
