compression fitting for heatkiller 3.0 1366?

    Hi

Guys anybody use compression fittings on the heatkiller 3.0 (1366) ?
Any recommended compression fittings? I believe there are problems with certain fittings on this block?

    Thanx

Yep, can use them but need to use a 45 degree on one of them to get enough clearance for both on there.

Not aware of any that will fit side by side on the block without the use of a 45 (or a 90) though happy to be corrected by someone else

My 3/8" - 5/8" compressions don't fit, but only just mind. I was thinking of grinding down the sides to see if they would just squeeze in, but decided to just get some angled fittings (despite them being a real pain to find in the UK currently).

I've used a 90 degree fitting OK, and I've got some 45 degree fittings arriving today / tomorrow and they should fit OK.

I got my HK 3.0 LT AMD version today (only difference is the holddown plate) and i could fit 10mm ID 13mm OD compression fittings (banana brand )without trouble, in fact the fittings weren't even touching each other.

Watercooled revised the spacing of the holes of the HK 3.0 sightly at the end of januari so the block could be used with a wider range of fittings.

They will fit IF you get 45 degree extensions.

    Por ejemplo:

Those are 1/2 ID, 3/4 OD bits power compression fittings right there. With that size, both fittings have to have angles on them, otherwise it's a no-go.

Yeah, my bananapower 3/8-5/8 only needs a 45 on the outlet, same with my 7/16-5/8 comps. I also have some 3/8-1/2 lying around that fit easily. I've also tried Enzotech 3/8 5/8 and that was a no go.

Weird thing is I HAVE seen B*P 3/8-5/8 fit on an HK so there must be some slight variations in diameter. If mine were a half a milimeter smaller, they'd work. I've seen people on german forums use Feser 3/8-5/8 without angled fittings.
