This WR also gives some hope to the guys who cant run CAS 7 at those MHz

Can duck and fred give us any insight into any extra SPD tuning they did? Is the Elpida Hyper + SPD mix crucial in overcoming the CAS 8 "drawback", or could Micron or Samsung chips at similar MHz do the job too?

    CPU-Z calls it "NB frequency"

Amazing clocks and score mate, and at "only" -90C... I wish my 975 was anything like that

    Thank you so much all

I should clarify myself that first trial run actually means the first run of the second day.
The first day got this CPU (June 12), I was not aware of a new 32M WR and aiming to get a better time than one before that

Here are some of my previous results under the same exact setting:

    modPI 8M

    modPI32M

Setup Picture with 975ES on June 7

I started serious OC again from last weekend with 975ES chip and still a lots to learn about various settings.
I really don't know about the impact of CL6/7/8, SPD Mix and Elpida Hyper vs Micron/Samsung chips that K404 questioned.
Anyway, from my past experience, at the extreme edge of the system, modPI time may not be faster even at higher clockspeed or better memory settings that why I dig to bench 32M

Thanks for your comparison result, Fugger-san

After all, I guess compare the results with others to try & learn oneself more

    fredyama & duck

    First of all: amazing scores

Second, maybe this can help you when testing the different memory configurations:

Good luck for the next run
