why not just get a rx480 reaper?

they're about the same price and do better with lower speed fans....

    well, now, hold your horses...

the RX480 design may have been based off the TC's successful design but to date, we do not have any actual testing and numbers to say that the RX480 works better than the PA120.4... tad premature for that bro...

both the RX and the PA series rads were designed to work well with low speed fans... i think it's pretty much neck to neck race on this one...

I cold have sworn the fan spacing was 19mm. Oh well, good point.

D'oh! That is what I get for doing maths while doing arts and scripting. Nice catch there .

    I doubly fail .
I still don't think it is any better than other thick rads though.

    0.744in^2 x 8fpi= ~6 fins

I highly doubt 6 extra fins/<1 sq.in. will make a big difference. If you compare it to other rads you will notice it performs similarly, so nothing special about it imo.

That said new TC stuff should be interesting. I am curious how much it will turn out like XSPC stuff and how much will stay the same.
    Last I checked, 19-15 equals 4 not 2.

So you might wanna redo your equation.

Don't regret it at all. From where I stand, there is not a poor radiator on the market. The key is to pair the fans and radiator, as long as to do that you'll be fine. We have a vast array of good parts to choose from when building our systems and loops.

Its a playground of good WC parts for us now...we have a vast array of options when we look to build another loop or expand an existing one.
