I'm at my witts end with these ing idiots. Whats the friggin point of using them if they hijack your friggin money then charge you stupid ass fees to do . Is there any other companies doing the same thing or are they a total monopoly on this kinda crap right now? Steam has pissed me right off too I swear these have some retards behind the scenes.

Here in Canada we have instant online debit to and from anyone with a Canadian bank account. It's pretty much the best thing ever.

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

Out of all the years I've been using PayPal I have nothing but high regards for their security and claims processing, and have never had an issue. Credit card transaction fees suck but if you are smart with preferred and personal accounts you can all but eliminate fees

I've never used any of these: http://money.cnn.com/galleries/2008/...fsb/index.html

But my sister works at Digital River for what its worth

i didn't have to many problems with paypal but i would be good for a rant or two.
on the other hand in regards to other likewise products, i think there is a lot worse out there, not much if any better.

    Snail mail or Western Union...

What criteria are you falling in under paypal's payment hold policy? they have quite a few for new users, users with low activity, or users with bad marks on them.

luckily, I've been in their system since 99, and have a clean record, so I've grandfathered out of all the newer payment hold restrictions. I can request my funds be transferred to my bank the day of the transaction and within about 48hrs, it's sitting in my checking balance...

you need to find out why your account has a payment hold on it. they have quite a few policies on this and reasons why they enforce holds. if you're one of the unlucky new guys to get caught in the fraud prevention policy net you just ahve to deal with it until you get some time and rep built. if you've got bad marks on your account, well that's just your fault.

I've been with them since 05 and I can withdraw the day of the transaction if I so desire... I use only the personal account, so I have NO fees on anything except receiving credit card payments (which I refuse to accept because of the ridiculously high fee on it). 500 bucks a month limit but only once has that been an issue.

With the personal account, I can't sell on ebay, but I don't care. Too many scammers on ebay for me to want to risk dealing with, I'd rather sell stuff on different forums where I can generally trust people a little more. I buy stuff on ebay though.

There's a better chance of Shintai using AMD.
