Really nice job James - keep up the good work.

with regards to the sticky residue, there is no way to get it off withut dammaging the powder coat finish. Powder coaters often don't sandblast items that are free of rust/imperfections unless requested as it is just not necessary and adds to cost. Just like they don't degrease unless the items are greasy :P

Finally, I can finally pass on what I've been doing while XS has been down. Man I missed these forums lol.

Without further a do, I present you 90% shots. FINAL pictures will be coming in the next few days.

    My EK V2 top...

*PLEASE NOTE! The weird swirls on the front plate are from the plastic, I forgot to WIPE them off before I took pictures (No defects in the actual metal etc...)

And the full shot of the teaser before.

The front plate LUMINOUS (The murderMod symbol lights up )

So far it's running great, I've thoroughly enjoyed building Mortal. Thanks for all your kind comments too, it's great motivation!

Enough talk! Time for the pictures to speak.

(The cardboard is still on the acrylic until final pictures as it's a dust magnet)

    Super shiny compressions!

Any one of my B'Day presents, 1TB external drive, yum.

    Cheers guys!

Well, no idea why there wasn't a more recent backup of the forums, I finshed this build a while ago, posted pics, since the backup today, they're all gone.

    Anyway.

The red coolant looks pink in direct sun....when it's OUT of the sun but still in light, it's a dark deep red, looks awesome.

So here are some shots for you all!

    I love this frontplate.....gorgeous.

    The gUts

I had a bit of fun with this one!!

    Cable management.

    The shell.

Thanks you so much for the support guys.

I think I may have broken my wrist, going to the doctors/X-ray today, so I'm going to keep this short as every little bit hurts.

My article is here - http://www.atomicmpc.com.au/Feature/...ortal-mod.aspx

    Cheers guys AND gals

    Outstanding job James!

It's been an absolute pleasure conversing with you these past months my friend. What's impressed me the most about you is your fantastic attitude and enthusiasm. You have a heck of a future ahead of you James; I look forward to following your upcoming builds.

EDIT: Sorry to hear about your wrist! I hope it's not too bad Mate - keep us posted.

    Cheers Charles......ouch...ooo.....ahh lol.

Thankyou for everything, yourself and Nils have bought something to the world of PC's which is just amazing, who knows where you'll be in years to come, my guess is you'll be the #1 stop for PC modifications.....with parts for almost every case. Your builds are something I look up too, whenever I had a doubt when building this, I hopped straight on here and looked at your Fanta Box....then ideas sparked in my head....I thank you for that

Its been a pleasure talking with you and asking you questions 24/7 (not so much for you :P)

Anyway, better stop before I scream. Thanks man!

    Hahaha

I played a footy match on Sunday (Australian football) and I don't think I knocked it, on Monday it was a little bit sore, I went to work later that day and all I do is basically lift boxes full of potatoes etc.. Yesterday I woke up and just about died, I can't move it side to side, up and down is fine (Thanks god ) but the other way isn't There go my plans of cleaning the garage to fit my new tools

    Thankyou!! Really nice comment man.

Good news on the wrist, had an x-ray and all seems to be ok, a sprained ligament, better than I was expecting TBH.

Looks fantastic James. Are you sure you didn't hurt your wrist dragging your rig to a lan party? It's okay, you can tell us.

I really like what you did with your fan controller, great thinking.
