Updated photo of the M roady in the wet (with the "new" headlight housings that I put in several months ago). The new housings really freshen the look of the car quite a bit... and I can actually see where I'm going now

I dig the white, but I have to admit, I would much rather have an E34 M series.

My 1989 Alfa Romeo 75 3.0 V6, have had it since I was 16 (I'm only 20 now though, lol), only 79000 km on the clock, completely original and A1

My 1984 Alfa GTV 2000. Everyday car, the 75 would be more practical but it is in too good of nick to use everyday.

Other then those 2 I've owned a 1987 Mitsubishi Pajero Turbo Diesel (Shogun to the USA) and an fsm Niki (fsm stands for "Fabryka Samochodów Małolitrażowych"). The Niki was the younger, uglier version of the Fiat 500. It sported a huge 150cc increase in displacement over the Fiats original 500 (499cc) engine, lol.

E34 M5... Hmm... Certainly a nice car but it's a little too big for my taste--I prefer smaller cars.

I wouldn't mind tracking down an alpine white '01/'02 E36/8 M Coupe some day (just so that I could have a stiffer Z3-based car with an S54B32).

Well, nothing really major.... It needs new tires, I have pads rotors and stainless lines sitting at home waiting to be installed, may as well change the suspension out to something other than the aging stock parts (still haven't decided what to change to yet, though... TC Kline seems to have some nice stuff), still haven't gotten around to changing out the rear subframe bushings, may have a toe/camber kit welded in when I change the subframe bushings (and if I do that, then I may as well get some adjustable camber plates for the front so that I can dial out some of the additional negative camber gained from any sort of drop resulting from a suspension change... there's already a fair amount of negative camber with the stock setup and it chews up tires--I'm not sure that I could afford more negative camber ), and I should change out the VANOS with one from Dr. Vanos at some point this year.

Aside from that, tracking down an HMS rollbar and hard top would be nice... but those are both rather expensive.

*edit* Almost forgot, I still have to replace that A/C belt tensioner that Margaret broke (until then, no A/C for me... not that I'll be needing it for a while).

They are a fun car to drive, in the US the 75 is known as the "Milano" and I think the 3 litre version is called the "Milano Verde." As far as I know they only made 800 left hand drive Milano Verde's and 3000 right hand drive 75 3.0 litre varients. It's hard to know the exact number but they are rare. The GTV's are a bit more common but a bit more collectable in good condition.

That's my old Pajero, it was a beast. Turbo Diesel was great for towing and not half bad on fuel for such an old 4WD.

Don't have to worry about the alfa rust over here mate. It doesn't snow so they don't have to salt the roads which I hear is a big cause for rust over in the US with these cars. Being on an island we are surronded by salt water but I don't live anywhere near the sea so it's all good.

Alfa pulled out of the US a while back, I think straight after the 164 (not sure) but they are a rare sight over there from what I've been told by USA Alfa enthusiasts.

Thats true, only the 75 is named the Milano. Slight variations in bumpers and trim. Some of the American Milanos came with nice Recaro seats, mine also has Recaros from factory but they are tamer versions, came with Brembo brakes from factory also.

    Thanks for the comments guys.
