    Scythe Mugen 2 : I7 @ 3.8 Ghz

Scythe Mugen 2 : Push Pull Config.

Push (Ultra Kaze 2k RPM) - Pull (Slipstream Stock fan of Mugen2). Thermal Compound : Tuniq Tx2

I am happy with my Temperature so far. Room temperature at 26C.

Just to let you know, Dominator Heatspreader and Mugen 2 heatsink touch each other - so i just put a piece of paper between them.

Only low quality pictures available from my rig.

With stock fan only - temperatures were 2C to 3C higher on each core.

can the heatsink be mounted if you turned it 90 degrees in either direction? Or is that the only way it can be mounted?

If you have Dominator RAMs, your Push fan would have to rest on The Dominators RAM which means you loose around Cooling on bottom 6 to 10 Fins. If you are Ok with that... you can definitely do that.

Check the first picture.... you can ofcourse remove the heatspread of the first dominator then its all good.

I am considering the same combination. And it seems i have the same case as you.
Why did you put a pieve of paper between the heat sink and the dominator heatspread?
Its looks like a close call for this combination

The heatsink can be mounted both ways, I have the same setup, except i have 2 ultra kazes, one bottom, one side, because in my antec 900 case the exhaust fan is so close, it almost is already a push pull config ^^
