An i7 backplate for the supreme! Where did you get it!? I checked to see if one was out a few times and could never find one. I got to order this asap and get it overnighted.

id just revese drill them so you can fit the bolts though.

the swiftech design looks by far the easiest to use.

Ok so in other words just make the 4 mounting points holes and install the block just as I would if there was no backplate (but obviously using the backplate). Very nice, ordering now

Alright. Need some experienced help here. I'm getting the XSPC X2O Delta V3 CPU block from here in Canada, importing the official LGA1366 mounting-plate from the UK for $8, then buying some LGA1366 back-plate, but I'm not sure which one. My options are the generic kit from Sidewinder, the Nexus Intel LGA1366 back-plate, the Asetek LGA1366 back-plate (cheapest of all, but I can't find pictures), or I buy the Thermalright LGA1366 bolt-through kit and just use the back-plate + screws.

Those screws on the Thermalright kit are the ones that allow for evenly distributed pressure, correct? The XSPC comes with standard thumb screws.

For my part I know nothing with any certainty, but the sight of the stars makes me dream.

    ..
