    Deneb 940 LN2 @ 5.86G

Deneb is a monster which eat LN2

No cold bug & cold limit

Do not boot if give more than 1.8V.
It is M'b problem in my thinking.
If give more than 1.8V 6G succeed may.

    higher NB should be possible.

Oldguy932 ran a 9600 BE chip on phase and got 2.7NB.

he mentioned it liked the cold.

If you multiply that time with 1.5 it's about the same as the fastest Deneb pi-run screenie I can remember on-the-fly

congrats...that CPU is definitely better than our one

your time is a bit slow for that speed

are you sure you were running Spi at that speed (if you OCd one core did you set Superpi priority on that particular core )

we did a faster run at much slower speed

i cant talk about scores though

we didnt use maxmem, our NB was at lower MHz and ram at higher MHz but looser timings

i'd love to know what 32M time you got as you are a great tweaker and will be pretty indicative of what to expect
i understand if you are not able to reveal that just yet

Did not MEM set optimize trying first(deneb LN2).

Because LN2 was not enough, did not run 32M

    Thank you so much dino22

Deneb - The way it's mean to be Overclocked !
When AMD had 64-bit and Intel had only 32-bit, they tried to tell the world there was no need for 64-bit. Until they got 64-bit.
When AMD had IMC and Intel had FSB, they told the world "there is plenty of life left in the FSB" (actual quote, and yes, they had *math* to show it had more bandwidth). Until they got an IMC.
When AMD had dual core and Intel had single core, they told the world that consumers don't need multi core. Until they got dual core.
When intel was using MCM, they said it was a better solution than native dies. Until they got native dies. (To be fair, we knocked *unconnected* MCM, and still do, we never knocked MCM as a technology, so hold your flames.)

    Very good.

I'm interested to see what you can get it too using air or water for stable use.

The HT link should be kept low in order to get a decent OC on Phenom 2. A CPU that will do 6GHz at 1GHz HT link, will probably do around 5GHz at 2GHz HT link. Not sure of the reason, though.
