Samsung. I got a good deal on a color laser and I love it. Before that I always bought Canon though. But inkjets are just too prone to premature death and they really bend you over the kitchen sink on refills. A few months ago Newegg had a special on B&W samsung lasers - $50 with free shipping. Hot damn!

they suck a lot of juice though. Don't put them on a circuit that has a lot of other loads.

should I get the gf an xmas present or make a donation to a charity in her name?

I love laptop keyboards. I bought a Razor Lycosa because it was supposed to be very laptop-like, although I have been less than impressed with it so far.

What do you think is the max usable res for a 15.4" laptop LCD: 1440x900, 1680x1050, something else?

    Eller

1920x1200. I use it myself and it's awesome.

Do you think trackpoints are useless?

Well, that's honestly a Non-Applicable question for me, so

At least this way I can comment on the trackpoint.
Useless? I think that's reserved for regular touchpads; using a trackpoint is way better, as after a bit of practice it can be just about as fast/accurate as a regular mouse. Touchpads on the other hand, bleh, so slow and the potentiality to drag/click things you don't want to.

How much do you think the team's production will be up over the winter season(Northern-Hemisphere) compared to during the summer?

If it's similar to what has happened with F@H in the past(all that I'm familiar with until recently), most people will OC their CPUs just a little bit more so I will say "YES".

1 display or multiples & why?

Multiple displays FTW. Being able to display one full-screen window on one monitor, and another on the other monitor. Or having something full screen (eg game or movie) and still being able to do stuff on the other monitor.

One big GPU (eg HD4870 X2) or two smaller GPUs (eg two HD4870 1Gb's) in SLI/Crossfire?

Coke. I will always love Coca Cola.

Where can I let out some steam about the incompetence of the largest Swiss phone company called Swisscom when I'm trying to get a Blackberry but they can't seem to understand the words coming out of my mouth?
