my itteh bitteh kitteh comitteh. her name is indigo, ~ 6 years old, a ragdoll. She is just a snuggly lap cat and i couldn't love an animal more. She sleeps with me every night, scoops her litterbox, makes me breakfast in the morning....

I also wanted to offer my condolences. Both of our cats are about the same age - probably around 11 or 12.

Did Buddy have naturally dark nose and lips? I don't think I've ever seen that on a domestic cat.

When you're ready, there are so many kitties that need a home. The office staff at my doctor's office feeds the strays but that probably just aggravates the problem.

Buddy has been very sick lately and stopped eating over a week ago, blood work from the vet came back ok and xray showed fluid in the lungs. He is breathing heavy and I have been force feeding him for a week now. After 16 years it hurts real bad to see him like this and even harder knowing I will most likely have him put to sleep tomorrow. I dont want him to suffer and I cannot keep up the force feedings. Im realizing how attached I have become to my little buddy, I wanted to say a little something and show off his handsomeness.

my grandmother had a cat that looked just like that, only fatter, i think yours probably has pnenomia(can't spell) also passed away the same way, hers was probably close to 17 or so
