LOL I picked these up a few weeks ago at my local Source/Radio Shack for my upcoming build not even knowing that Charles used them in his build haha. I saw them & thought they'd come in handy so i grabbed a couple diff sizes. All they are is basic project boxes really. nexXtech puts these ones out . Couple pics so you can see them close to what charles has used there.

Ok now that I have had to cancell my order with watercoolingUK and Scan still havent got the rampage in stock Ive got time to work on the stuff that I do have and do a little more planning... Im gunna ask around to see if I can get the TJ07 internals painted black. Annother thing is that Im gunna clean out my old equiptment tonight with Sysclean following this guide.

Most importantly I need to deicie on a colour scheme for this build, I can change anythig, coolant, hose etc but not fans, pumps or rads.

You can't go wrong following Dangals' lead. His build is impressive.

Since you can't get the RE2 have you thought about the Gigabyte EX58-EXTREME? I'll admit I'm an Asus fanboy BUT, I think I might have to give the Gigabyte board a shot when I make the move to the i7 platform.

You can't go wrong either way. Looking forward to your results as your hardware choices lead me to believe your build is going to be be a good one.

Can't wait to see how this worklog comes along

Core 2 Duo(Conroe) was based on the Intel Core Duo(Yonah) which was based on the Pentium M(Banias) which was based on the Pentium III(Coppermine).

Core 2 Duo is a Pentium III on meth.

    Minor Update:

On the mobo ive gone for the asus p6t deluxe. Ive always liked ASUS but the rampage is a bit pricy for watercooling and better suited for somthing like Ln2 which I will NOT be doing on my own expensive mobo!

I can finally say that the CPU and Memory is arriving today!

However, they are going to be pretty useless for me until the mobo arrives next week.

Along with the mobo I am expecting the watercooling stuff, I orderd them both from different sites, now lets see who's quicker!

I orderd late Thursday night so hopefuly they will be here on Saturday or monday.

    Another minor update:

    1) I Changed the ASUS RAMPAGE II x58 to an ASUS P6T Deluxe OC PALM x58 (anyone buying a P6T they are £50 cheaper at Specialtech.co.uk than Overclockers.co.uk and other retailers!)

    2) I Changed the GPU block from an EK-FC4870 X2 to an XSPC Razor 4870x2 full cover block.

    3) I changed the coolant from Feser One UV Black to Feser VSC, 1L for each loop.

    4) Mobo should arrive tomorrow, I will have it on air until I can get my case internals powder coated.

The mobo and remaining watercooling parts arrived today

The P6T Deluxe mobo, I originally opted for the Rampage but decided that it was a bit too expensive for what I was going to be using it for, since Im not going to be Ln2 benching or anything was a bit of a waste of money.

Here is the system not so beautifully set up, but fast as lightning and awaiting the case to be painted. Sinice I have blown the budget a long time ago I am taking it to a friend tomorrow who paints bikes and will hopefully be able to paint the internalls.

Here is all my w/c eqiptment, I would like to take the time to thank everybody who has helped me pick out these parts and get the best possible config.

I changed my mind after having read somwhere that Feser VSC is much better than regular Feser One.

The XSPC Razor 4870x2 block is quite a bit cheaper than alturnative ones and I could see no major differences.

Special thanks to Eddy @ EK for this one, the CPU block is my old EK Supreme with the new 1366 mounting plate direct from EK for only a couple of quid!

There is my batterd old Thermochill PA120.3 next to a nice and new double version.

In my opinion the best pump/res combo arround! My previous one broke but it was MY FAULT so I was more than happy to buy the same one again. Also you will see I have the mounting kit wich should be very useful.

Here I am trying to show how the fittings will go on the rads (sorry for the bad pic)

    3/8" BSPP to 1/4" BSPP ---> "L" Bend ---> Compression fitting

Just a little explanation of what each of the fittings are.

That P6T should serve you well. I'm looking forward to the build. What color are you going to paint the interior? It might look sweet in a candy apple red?

How are you temps with the stock cooler? I

Thanks guys, the internals are going to be black (sorry to bore you all!) The stock cooler is actually not too bad i have managed to get it up to 4Ghz without even changing so much as the thermal paste!! Temps hovering between 50c - 60c.

Does anyone know a good way of cleaning the outside of my old radiator? It looks in pretty bad nick because when I clean it with orginarty water it leves white marks.
