Unless I see tangible performance difference in games from my Rampage Extreme/Q9550@4180 with 4870x2 CrossfireX I am not going anywhere. This time I will watch the others and see what the best of those is then chose. I am not in a hurry though.
Hardware :Asus Rampage Extreme, 4870X2 (Crossfire X) EK FC Blocks, CPU Q9550@490FSB/4,180Ghz, RAM 4GB DDR3, Auzentech Prelude X-fi,PSU - Thermaltake Toughpower 1200 Watt,
    3 Loops with TFCs360 and a PA.120.2/DDCs.

Not meant as a offense, but I think it's too early to judge, in a month or two everything will be different due to newer bios versions.

None. I have no intention of buying i7.

Now, if someone was to give me one, then I'd have to figure out what board but I'm not going to go out and buy one of these chips.

    Foxconn all the way.
"To exist in this vast universe for a speck of time is the great gift of life. Our tiny sliver of time is our gift of life. It is our only life. The universe will go on, indifferent to our brief existence, but while we are here we touch not just part of that vastness, but also the lives around us. Life is the gift each of us has been given. Each life is our own and no one else's. It is precious beyond all counting. It is the greatest value we have. Cherish it for what it truly is."

Holding tight( as per sig) but if i did have the coin for it. The gigabyte. With SLi support and a pair of 260GTX Core 216s. Perhaps one Core 216 and another dollop of ram.

I have an Asus P6T Deluxe that should be delivered by the end of the week but it will only be a $300 paper weight unless I can find a Core i7 CPU and some memory. It looks like I'll have to wait another week to get my hands on them.
