seeing as it's been consistent across many boards, try a fresh install of windows.

Anybody have a preference as far as this memory scenario.... I'm at 500fsb 1:1 . (sytem in sig)
Would you get this gskill that runs at 4-5-4-12 1000 and run it at that or use a divider for 1200 and get this gskill that runs 5-5-5-15 1200mhz
I plan on getting a 2nd 4gb kit for 8gb total so that needs to be taken in to consideration. I plan on running whichever i get at its rated speed.
Does anybody have a p45 and memory that'll run at both of those settings?
If so do you mind posting some screenies of everest or similar at both settings? Thanks a lot! All suggestions are appreciated.

this is a very fun board , question, with my multi@8 and fsb @519 or higher, prime fails after about 1-3minutes. ive tried raising nbv.vtt, vcore but no success.do you yhink it could be my ram holding me back?i tried upping the vdimm from 2.1 to 2.14 but no luck. do you think i can raise it to about 2.2 and still be safe?

What pci card did you install?

So far I've only installed an E6600 along with a HD4870 in my EP45-UD3P. I have a PCI HighPoint Rocket 133 ATA133 Controller so I tried it in that first PCI slot. Everything booted and I installed the driver 1.23.3.30 for Vista 32-bit. I haven't connected a drive to it but all indications is that it is working.

For those of you with Quads, Elektrosadist suggested bios F4 for the UD3P and quads. I am in the process of testing the F4 and so far i am very pleased.
I'm also getting awesome memory scores 1:1 with PL9. Coming from ASUS i thought the Lowest PL you could use was 10... I was wrong.
Big difference in bandwidth. Here is Elektrosadists post over at the UD3 Quad thread, post 18, and then my Everest scores DDR2 1024 5-5-4-12 PL9.
I am still tweaking and testing but i do suggest quad owners to try F4.

I also chatted a long while with the shop owner there and he said he also tested the F4, f4PI and the F5A Bios and the most reliable for Quads is the F4. I will later make a SS with ET6. And i don't know how extend you guys test, i do Prime for like 6h OCCT for 3h as well as 20 runs of the INTELBURNTEST and then i run all synthetic benchmarks i have (3dmark and pcmark stuff, superpi, everest, sandra and some more). After all that is passed i just use the system (surfing gaming benching a lil)and when i dont get a blue screen for some weeks i refeer to this as stable. I just say this cause i know some of you do Prime for days.

@PcCI2iminal,thanks! raising the vdimm to 2.20 did the trick.i was afraid to to raiseit to 2.20 cause it was getting warm,so i added a 60mm fan using double sided tape and it seems to be cooler also lowered my cpu temps and motherboard temps as well. i have a stuck sensor on my cpu(39c).this is the highest ive been able to get my fsb ever (stable that is)thank you again.quick question, how does the memory driving strength profiles work?
