    How is the flow on this pump?

    Aquastream XT USB 12v DC Pump - Ultra Version

    OK, I just saw that Sidewinder Computers just started carrying aqua computers stuff. I am planning out my build and I would really like to use one of these pumps for my CPU loop and possibly another for my GPU loop. I will be using the following blocks with 1/2" X 3/4" tubing:
    CPU = EK Sepreme
    GPU = 2 EK 4870 X2 Nickel blocks

    Will this pump be a good match for either of these blocks? Also, how to these compare to something like a D5 Vario set to 5?

    Well I was just talking about this earlier... It has slightly more flow then a DDC but less head pressure... it has slightly more pressure then the D5 but WAY less flow. (this is a comparison on its highest setting and D5's highest)

    For the size and the price, its not worth it.

    Also the EK Supreme would not be a wise choice if you plan on doing a single loop with those dual X2's .. a Fuzion v2 would be better.. or maybe the GTZ if you want 3/4OD compression fittings.

    The plus side of that pump is that you can monitor a lot of its features over the USB interface and control them.. the bad is that you can buy 2 x 3.2DDC for the same price which WOULD be able to support an EK Supreme and the dual x2 blocks.

    Cost is not the great of a concern. I really like the USB connection. Also, i was talking about two separate loops. with cost being no option would you consider this pump?

    Are there any graphs for it with flow and pressure readings.

    I have three of these in a box ...waiting to find time to get installed...hell I got a bunch of stuff in boxes waiting for time. But more to the point; if you look at the numbers, they don't have the highest flowrate but their head pressure is nothing to be ashamed of. By the numbers, they should be damn fine for any watercooling rig. And like you, the number of options afforded by the monitoring through the USB connection is something worthwhile in my book... namely the ability to monitor and alarm issues with the pump operation.

    I have been an aquarium enthusiast for years and in the name of pumps, Eheim has never served me wrong.

    If you got the money AND the room for two of these, go for it

    I have two of the AquaStream plain vanilla models and they push through multiple blocks pretty well. In my opinion, this pump is not as strong as a DDC w/ top. If I remember correctly, the input and output connectors are G1/8 (not sure if they changed) - if so you won't want this with 1/2" ID tubing.

    You can get a DDC + the AquaComputer USB Power Adjust and pretty much get the same data. You will not get the temperature inputs unless you also get an Aquaero.

    I have the Eheim Innovatek Hpps.
    It gets almost the exact same flow rate on high as the D5-B. (according some french site)
    On auto, it's a little less. On Silent, it's less.

    Is that a modified 1046 or 1048?

    Does anyone have the dimensions for this pump. I think I am going to use one of these for my CPU loop, a D5 for my GPU loop, and a DDC for my chipet/RAM loop.

    Correct, it is a 1046 that has been modded to work at 12vdc and a different impeller.

    rick i heard you can flip a jumper and turbo it, however you will void warrenty by doing so.

    Yep, you can also do it from AquaSuite software. Either way I still think there was a flow than a 3.1 DDC. This pump does have a ton of bells and whistles.

    There are not many reviews with direct comparison to other pumps. Here is one from an Italian review.

    btw: the XT pump has no jumper for the frequency. It can be freely adjusted via software up to 100Hz without any warranty loss. It's a normal feature of this pump.

    I seem to not be able to understand your post. Do you mean it has more or less flow than a 3.1DDC?
