    I knew 95*C tjmax was not correct for my cpu (8400), as the temps at idle were just too low compared to the ambient temp. I don't know how/why 95*C was decided upon, as it was clearly incorrect.

    So if the E8400 is suppose to be 5C hotter then what RealTemp was saying before. Then why does Coretemp still have 105 as the TJ max instead of 100.

    forget it, I am an idiot. I used the mirrior.

    There is a 5C-6C difference between Core Temps and Real Temps under load.

    believe it or not, but Asus Probe II shows me the correct e8400 temp, on the p5e64 WS

    1600mhz 0.9v
    water temp 29ºc
    =========
    Asus probe - 29ºc
    Realtemp beta - 42ºc

    2000mhz 1.14v (c1 EIST auto settings)
    water temp 30ºc
    =========
    Asus probe - 31ºc
    Realtemp beta - 44ºc
