These chips are sick, booting into windows at 6Ghz and with the cascade I can run forever, thought about leaving it running while I slept.

Ill tighten things up, should be interesting.

In the two times i have been out there I don't think I have ever seen an air cooling solution at Charles office or house.....

He has the cascade....and he has LN2 pots....I don't think I ever saw him run H2O either!

3D 06 + dual core = no good ...
But 3D 01 / 03 / 05 & AM3 are awesome with these new chips

Something is really wrong with your CH, its not the drivers (also use 177.41 and get 426 CH with CPU at 5.850), maybe is the mobo / chipset P45

Try your 790i to see how far your E8600 can go in the cascade..

He says he left his texture preference at "Quality" in the nV control panel.

Not that impressive. Nowadays almost everybody's able to bench 3D at 6GHz+ with extreme cooling.

A high percentage go 6Ghz+so there is a good chance to get a 6Ghz chip of the box.

The price isnt bad to play at this speed, just gotta find a good board and work it.

No, not flaming, just showing a total lack of class and failures in upbringing.
I had a kid here call me one evening maybe 2 years ago telling me how after a month he'd finally gotten his old AMD socket A system stable enough so that it would do 200 points a day in the app we were doing.
My machines were doing 3000 points a day each.
You don't crap on peoples parades, you take the time to wish them well no matter what you think of their numbers.
It's called common courtesy and manners.
Both items that should be learned at ones parents knee at a very young age.

FYI, I've done worse than that. I was benching AQ3 on a single core in LA, couldn't figure out why my scores were soo off

Driver is really bad for CH. I have the same problem.

I was pushing for 700FPS in LH.

I will try to chase down Pedro with a GX2 later, got him by a few Mhz on both GPU and CPU but...

LN2 planned but it might not be for another week or two.

Swapped back to the 1800C7 Dominators, they cannot match the 2133 Dominators (Samsung) on this board. I didnt save any screens, just going through lots of settings.
