    Pretesting E8600 @ 6Ghz Cascade -100 on Asus Commando

    So today i made a small pretest with my new Toy the E8600 !

    First CPU-Z with the Asus Commando P965 ! Cascade WR !

    Second 1m Pi only Single Channel (Memory) and no P965Tweak !



    Next time LN2 !

    nice start it seems after E8600 become to retail it will be 6GHz rain
    so it was saaya's legendary commando?

    Thanks !! Bios 1703 but still a error on startup screen he reconize the cpu not correct !

    Nice job splmann... Those E8600 are monster cpu's. I'll expect much better results (and more) with LN2 but this 1M run is really good if you didn't use Strap Tweaker (as you said).

    I pretested my one , but still on air. It does 670mhz fsb and 5ghz for 1.47v

    All these chips have hit 6ghz without too much trouble waiting to see what the best ln2 speed is 6.4ghz to beat.

    Very nice result!!

    I'm wondering, is it these 8600's that are so great or is it the new E0 stepping?

    If it's the stepping we should see some awesome 8400 and 8500's as well in the near future.

    I think 6.3GHz with LN² should be doable with this chip, keep pushing it.

    so i found the Motherboard who can maybe increase the max. CPU-Z. This Result is CPU under standart Watercooling NB @ Aircooling !!
