    P5Q3 + A-Data Vitesta X...work in progress

    P5Q3, BIOS 0801
    2x1GB A-Data Vitesta JNL

    RAM clocking:

    work in progress. 720MHz 6-5-5.

VDIMM 1.95V, vNB 1.36V Doesnt seem to like the voltages being any less than that

-> Ignore the time, its not tweaked at all I just wanna know what MHz I can get.

    800MHz (1:2 ratio) @ 8-7-7-21, VDIMM=1.95V, vNB= 1.36V wouldnt run 32M at all.

How is everyone else getting on?

Great mems, can they do that at 1T??
    How about using MonteBoy SpiTweaker??
I know you can tweak but will save the trouble just for some quick tests

1T/2T isnt available in BIOS and Memset doesnt offer 1T- it goes back to 2T .

Did you try older bios? What slots you used?

I'm not tried 0801 yet, but I couldn't stabilize my OCZ 1600EB (D9JNL) rams. I tried lot of settings and memory ratio, but I got only superpi 1M done..2M not finished.. One of guy from hungarian site could stable 1700Mhz 7-7-7-20 2T with 3:5 ratio. That doesn't work for me. Try out, maybe it will help for you..!

I got the same case with you b4, then I return the OCZ 1600EB for a pair of corsair 1333 DHZ, 1600CL7 rock stable@1.65V only.

Thanks I meant the Corsair sticks, but knowing the OCZ you had trouble with was Micron is..."reassuring"

Im throwing in the towel regarding this board. Maybe its potential will be realised one day. If it does, il buy it again...I wont hold my breath though. Disappointed.

Most P45 chipsets seem to have problems with memory i think. Maybe give the board a little more time to see a more mature bios?

Thats correct, and i second that. Its a matter of time to get things iron out on this chipset. A couple of new Bios away and you will see a difference

    Sad to say..
    same here...
Have put my board up for sale already...
tried 2 pairs of memory, one gskill 1600c7 HZ and Team Xtreem 1600C7...
    No results so far...
    And both are D9JNL...
If that day comes, i'll just buy the board again.

I orginally bought this board for ddr3 choice, did not like any of my
micron sticks whether I used D9GTR or D9GTS all were 2gb pairs (2x1gb).
I tried same sticks I used successfully before on blitz extreme where they all did past 1800mhz CL7.
I tweaked my sub mem. timings over and over and this board would only run good with 1:1 memory divider.

JNL aren't chips who loves voltage, they have some sweet point and work the best with that voltage

    800MHz (1:2 ratio) @ 8-7-7-21, VDIMM=1.95V, vNB= 1.36V wouldnt run 32M at all.

How is everyone else getting on?
good stick and nice run bro, just need 1.95 volt

    tRD set to 5 please!

    using the tables at http://www.anandtech.com/mb/showdoc.aspx?i=3208&p=9
one can assume that the very best memory and performance results would be achieved by using a tRD of 5 and you are working with a tRD of 8 which cuts most of the gains of the faster memory frequencies achieved.

I would like to see the numbers for CAS 5 tRD 5 2:1 divider at the highest possible multiplier and numbers for CAS 6 tRD 5 2:1 also.
