    Cooling: Air (OCZ vendetta)

Stable for 3 hours+ in Prime 95. I've also tried short stablity tests with OCCT, Orthos, AMD Overdrive and Everest. It has been stable for several days at this frequency in many applications. I did try to take it higher using different combinations to get to 3.0Ghz and 3.1Ghz. I did manage to get to windows. Neither are stable. Random crashes and freezes. Not stable in prime 95. This is with 1 increase of VCore (0.25v). It could possibly be stable at those frequencies but I am fairly reluctant to increase the voltage again.

1.4 vCore should be safe enough as long as your cooling will handle it ...

Nice clocks cdawall .Don't wanna jinks it ,but any idle freezing at those clocks? Is that CPUz voltage correct? If so,that's a great OC.

EDIT: NB freq. 2550Mhz .Simply awesome!

It's like a miracle how some motherboards dont seem to care about the SB600 and actually do a good job

CDAWALL: What are you using to change nb fid (multi)?
    Don't be fooled by Cpu-Z..
I can do 7000MHz nb... but it's not for real. Unless you reboot after changing registers with msr editor, the change is not done.
On the side note it is only BE Phenoms that can change nb fid above 9, Phenom 9500 can only lower nb multi. (My own Phenom 9500 could not even do that, it was locked at 9)

Edit: You are probably running your nb at 2295MHz like your HT-Link (Wich is good for a 9500)

Yes it is probably a bug in the bios.

Edit: Do a everest memory latency test with high nb clock, and do a test with stock clock, and they will be the same.

Edit2: The bug was discovered some time ago, look in KTE's MSI thread.

    Incredible CPU Northbridge figures.
Shame it is almost certainly a BIOS bug.

Just out of interest does anyone know the maximum possible northbridge speed on a Phenom?

I think that this thread should be a sticky.

It seems to be 7000Mhz +/-pll fluctuations. Htt 200 * nb fid 35 = 7000MHz, theoretically that is

    9950BE at 3000 (15x200) 1.3625V

Same temps running everest stress test.
