My vapo LS mod progress

right a while ago i ask'd a few questions on here but still was unclear so i have spent a lot of time reading and now know much more lol

    lots o pics
here it is as it was before (bodged by someone else)

    So it begins
found a nice power plug @ maplins switch fuse and plug -> here <-

    Gutted

1st pipe arangment did not go there as did not have enuff pipe

oil change, out with the old in with the new lol after asking endlessly for days of where to get it from i managened to get 1L of POE rl 32 from the shop where i got the 0.031" captube

new armaflex and braid and got some 50mm srinktube from the eBay to
also the wiring to the compressor was cack so redid it with new 3core and terminals all solder'd for safty

desuperheat coil and condencer this is the only pic i got lol also add rubber tap washers to the compressor mounts and the condencer for vibration dampaning

i do not own a vac pump and there was no way i was going to pay £160 for one so i bodged my compressor yay -28 Hg noisey but affective

mangaed to get a set of 134a-404a-507 gages with lines £29 from BES
left the vapo in vac over night to see if there was any leaks and none lol

i got a can of 134a from halfaruds for £20 just to prime and test
lol charge'd it you thru the hi side till about 30psig then run the system within 3mins -46c 0w load server vacuum on compressor i add'd more to low side now its ticking over @-40c ,lowside is -7Hg, hiside 110psig but its icing up the compressor but no floodback at all ran it for 3 hours not a problem and less of charge then it floods is that just the 134a?.
i'll get it charged with 404a soon

mounted the chill control on to one of my hdd trays

thats it for now ill post up updates when i get time let me know what you think i thought i did well as its my 1st time brazing and working with chiller bits..

Looks very good and very well done, but one question, are you soldering or brazing? Maybe its the cam but it seems like solder.

If you have a cooling question or concern feel free to contact me.

From what I can see it looks like nice clean brazing work. Good job. Your choice of purge gas may not sit well with some on here though. You probably don't need to run it quite as high as shown in some of those pics, but no matter really.

    cheers

and its all about bang for buck propane =£1.60 a can nitrogen = £22 bottle then you have to get some gages £30-50 so cheaper option was best 4 me

    updates

right just a quick update after building up the pc around the vapo and case it looks like this
i did have my old ati x850xt's in as my 8800gt's were not ready yet

all vapo case pannels were prep'd sprayed white then silver from cans the one side had a few dent's in it so it was filled then painted

i saw how some people soft soldered the cap tube to the accumilator and how others had used thermal paste me i just used vaseline as it was all i had to hand then i doble rapped it with armaflex tape

put water cooling back in and the 8800gt's all done this is how it looks now

also add'd a temp probe to suction line and compressor
    q6600 G0 @ 2.4ghz 95w
R134a gas, temps holding nice sholud work well on 404a i hope lol
