DiKKeneK fan !!
i´m already with 0401 since thursday and did not see any changes but at least since yesterday not having stability problems like before.
monday will continue with more tests when the gskill hz arrive because with this ocz crap gold can´t past over 1340mhz
the other problem that still remaining is the cpu temperature, instaled a noctua U12P and it´s impossible having 45º imediatly after turn on the pc and 51º on the cores in real temp, even at load the temps dont move.

id like to know what planet/world u guys get the mobo from..
that or im the one on another world/planet
Wait
I just have a quick question
Camouflage, I suppose you are planning to give this board a hard-core overclocking right? Because unlike others, I think the stock NB heatsink seems pretty good... I dont know, I might be wrong. Now if it could have been the size of the Maximus or Striker II boards, it would have been good enough dont you think?
And why did you put antartica over your power regulators? Thats a lot of cooling for them :P
I run a WC setup with a chiller - and I want to get the NB also under chilled water.
So I had to remove the whole heatsink ensemle to get a waterblock onto the NB...
The replacement parts for the mosfets may be a bit oversized - but looking nice & were the only ones I found so far in Europe to do the job.
BTW - I can't really believe the stock cooling should be fine - how much contact do You think will do a heatsink mounted with thermal compound looking like this:
If You don't plan to cool the NB with water I think it's highly recommended to replace the stock thermal compound with AS5.
@supa-fly :You can get the repair kit only from special developers who have killed at least 10 ASUS boards......

hiho,
Those rads on mosfets are big that's a fact, not changing much to the mobo its look, important isn't itas it improves the cooling...
For the replacement of the compound on other chips than cpu, isn't it safer to put 'ceramic' Arcticsilver compound ? it would be a drama to get a short circuit
DiKKeneK fan !!
nice pics kabauterman!
about the voltages showing much higher in windows with the asus tool than what you set in bios and what the real voltages are.
its a bug with the asus tool, it happens on several boards.
try another version of the tool, or better, stop using that crappy asus tool and use everest or some other REAL tool :Phehehe
btw, that extra power button and debug led card looks a bit flaky...
it looks like it will break if you push the power button too strong
is it stable or does it move around?
Inglês por favor
muito agradecido![]()

I think cooling looks very fine but it isn't much performant, NB gets realy hot.
I also plan to change the Cooling, camo, what Thermalright MOSFET Coolers do you choose.
For NB I will use Thermalright HR-05 IFX and on SB I use Coolink ChipChilla
Edit:
Saaya, the card isnt very stable but Its enoght to normal use
Well, of course thats not going to cool it good enough, but you can always save money and time by just changing the thermal paste and cleaning the stock pipes. Same reason why I changed the thermal paste from my SIIE to MX-2 and changed that crappy paste, didnt really want to see the pipes I payed so much for around the house with no use, but since yours are a different story, then I think you did the right thing

I just orderd this WS Evolution board. Does anybody have experiences with this board and 2x2 GB RAM since it seems that high density/capacity RAM really stresses the boards?
Another thing can you pull off the heatpipe system (for replacing the TIM) and put it back on without ruining the "pins/splits" (don't know what they are called) that fastens the heatpipe system?

ppl that already have the board with 45nm, does still display sticky temp of the cpu?
with mine is always 45º at idle and full, the temps of the cores in real temp change a little bit only when i raise the vcore up to 1,45v or more

Don't think his QX does 534FSB, at least mine topped at 470'ish level...
Nice looking board, why didn't you order straight from Eddie Camouflage... would have been way faster...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree
