    5000 hours?
thats only 200 days 24/7 operation?

i didnt know those caps are rated to such low lifespans...

phase extension module... so basically its 8x2 phase and not 16x1 right?
and that other board is only 6x1 phase?
is it really a gigabyte board?
can somebody spot what board they are comparing?

This slide is almost *identical* to a slide produced by Gigabyte:

    http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/FileList/...070427_ud2.htm

    Fujistu RE capacitors: http://jp.fujitsu.com/group/fmd/down...-up/re-8le.pdf

This is a very interesting artcile which explains some of the techno blurb about phases, capacitors and all the rest...and how and what *real* difference it all makes:

Once you read that page, please take a look at this article: http://www.bit-tech.net/bits/2008/03...he_enthusiast/

lol...it's clearly a Gigabyte Ultra Durable 2 mobo, the capacitor with the plastic skirt around it is kinda dead giveaway.

Am i right?, the Asus board has 48 MOSFETS?...32 on the top side and 16 underneath?...Gigabyte only have 24...wow!

Well said my man, I love the way Saaya always misses key info with his quotes to dramatize everything...NOT

I bet the component on a decently built rig never goes over 60c which means 6 or 7 yrs lifespan and we all know everyone changes boards after 1 yr max so who cares ?
Got a problem with your OCZ product....?
    Have a look over here
