EK Supreme vs D-Tek Fuzion v2 (with Quad Plate)?

Has anyone gotten to test the D-Tek Fusion with the quad Plate on a quad core processor?
Trying to figure out if it is better then an EK Supreme.

I remember reading here about potential Nozzle Plates coming out for the EK supreme, but it was a long time ago. Is this something that is still most likely going to happen?
I see most comparisons between the EK Supreme and the D-Tek Fusion v1 don't really compare the Fuzion with the Quad Nozzle.

Its almost build time and the CPU/GPU blocks are the last 2 items left to order.

I'll be testing the Fuzion V2 with quad nozzle on my QX6700 this weekend.
As far as temps go, and as far as i've seen with my testing, the stock fuzion v2 will outperform the supreme any day.

Edit: that is unless you have a $300 Iwaki RD20 or RD30 pump.

Still would really like to know which preforms better. Was hardly any comparisons between the EK Supreme and the D-Tek Fuzion v1 with quad nozzles and tested on a Quad core CPU.(a test without the quad nozzle isnt fair really since for like 4 bucks more it will preform better on a quad)

And now with the Fuzion v2 you can use either the old quad nozzle or the new v2 specific quad plate which is supposed to be better. Would Really like to see a performance comparison between the 2 on a Quad Core.

The V2 is a fairly substantial improvement over V1. Havn't seen a direct comparison.

Give it a comparison and let us know what you think...

Heh I wish. Too much more potential upgrades to get to justify buying 2 blocks that either way will be very close.

Was hoping someone had a EK supreme but wanted to try out the new Fuzion v2 on a quad and could compare them.

sorry its gonna take a bit more from d-tek besides a different top, and slightly smoother accelerators for me to shift over.

To be honest, the EK is a better platform, (i feel), in its design cuz of a wider waterpath. Of course to see the benifits you need an uber head pressure system.

Looking forward to the results. I think the v2 might win this one.

What the, are those custom made or are those prototypes of the official nozzle plates that were mentioned in the past?

Also, has there ever been solid comparisons between the Fuzion v1 with quad nozzles and the EK supreme on a quad core processor?

i have to agree on this ^^

by the way, what kind of performance gains are to be seen from adding a second DDC3.2 to a supreme loop?

@zolkorn: will you be testing the v2? (dont see a quad plate there xD)

I swapped my Aquaxtreme MP-1 for a EK Supreme the other day in a loop with an Aquaxtreme MP-1 GPU block an, mcr220, and a D5 and saw about a 5-6C drop at idle. Needless to say, I'm impressed especially considering how resctictive my gpu block is.

I don't have the quad midplate, but I do have the supreme, fuzion V2, and XSPC Edge, and DD MC-TDX I'll be putting up against each other soon. I had to order a new motherboard to handle the Q6600, and I will be doing some detailed 5mount thermal runs when the new system is running and I have a good stable overclock settled on.
