    Some pictures:

There are exactly 33 pieces of processors with this batch:

    Handpicking methodology:

    Bios @ 1.2v (vdroop control - disabled)
Cooling @ box cooler from E6600
Thermal Compound -> Arctic Cooling Ceramique
Settings to start: 500x8, VTT -> 1.25v (I don't know if a such high setting was required but I don't have too much time...)

    Configuration:

    DFI LP P35 UT
    Seagate 80 GB ATA
    GeCube HD2900XT
    Pentagram 1050W ES
Goodram PRO 2x1 GB PC8500 (Micron D9 GKX)

I care about the statistics of that lot. I want to see what the range of good clockers is for a sample this large. This is a great opportunity to get some hard data on things that tend to go unnoticed, i.e. a true ratio of "good" to "bad" clockers, etc.

So they are all the same batch, just wafer nr's differ then... I had the bad luck to get two (yes only two) of the same batch and they both clocked average... Hope you get 33 golden samples mate
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I am tired but I managed to put them all into socket and do some quick tests:

Benching configuration and methodology - see post number 3

Each processor got its own identification number (from 1 to 33 :heh I achievements I noted down to a notebook . Some of them don't enter windows on this setting so they are put on allegro.pl (polish ebay), exactly 15 pieces. Most of them do 4 GHz 1.25 - 1.275v. But I got the best one

I got mine yesterday, does 4GHz @ default VID (1.217V) but is 7h prime (small fft's) stable only @ 1.35V :S So your cpu is very nice, doing 6hrs @ only 1.216V.

Miravo, that's a great chip. No doubt. What is core temp reading for the vid on that chip?

Mykou, what was the batch that was 6 hours prime stable @ 4ghz with 1.2vcore? Any screens of the prime run?

I'm creating a list of top performers.

    Thanks guys.

Miravo it's pretty amazing the range of performance within one batch. Did you use exact same test method for each chip? Were they all tested on your DFI setup?

    Hi mrcape

no pb as I said batch Q807A091 4ghz@1.20v load with P5kC ( I sold it but regret not to have tested with my asus P5K black pearl as my Q746 need less volts with it 4ghz @1.29v vs 4ghz@1.32v with p5kc so maybe under 1.20v uuhh lol )

you can also see C1anid3 and Tarowah's ones ( same batch )that perform very well

The one I running now need little more volts but nice too and better temps load

    (Q746A534)

Hey Mykou that 807 is amazing, thanks for the reply. : ) Was that the box cooler you used in that run?

Interesting what you said about the Asus P5K board. I have a P5K-Dlx sitting over here that I might have to try my 745 in it.
