    More RAM or DVD-RW?

so I like to burn films, hence the DVD-RW coming into play - Pioneer 106

or should i go for more RAM, 2x512mb Kingston PC3500 (rated @ 2-2-2-6-1 according to the reseller)

im unsure what to buy. If any. currently got 2x256mb TwinMOS PC3200 CH5 ram, getting DFI mobo w/ 3.3v vdimm etc. etc.

The DVDRW would be more important, dont you think?
Buy the gig of HyperX later..2x 256Mb should tide you over for a while.

hey again Dris! its me The running man (if you hadn't already guessed - I decided on the mobo as the DFI as some blocks DO fit it )

hmm, u may have a point, but the films i get are svcd/vcd and i'm curious as to whether they will go onto dvd and work on a bog standard DVD player, not svcd compatable etc.

as for the hyperX, its possible to wait later, but will BH5 still be on those chips then?

    thanx again mate.

went for DVD-RW (thought about moving around certain files )

    saves me money too

If you need info on what DVD players burned discs will play in as well as info on various formats, check this site out: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/
