The only thing that AGEIA ever impressed me with was the control panel examples that came when I had to install some game.
If anyone knows what I am talking about, it had like a box and a cloth and you can move it and the cloth would move realistically.
Put realism like that in games, and they would be more fun.

Plenty of talented engineers at nVidia will work on both software & hardware so the Ageia API becomes a native component of future GPU's.

Only if Ageia's API becomes real open and supervised like OpenGL it has a chance to become important!
Developers will implement only those API's that are licence free, and are broadly supported by hardware!
Thus why I think that future is in open Phisx API as a part of DirectX 11, or open Ageia, or Havok!

I don't really get the whole physics ide in games.
I mean sure it will be easier for gpu to run the given physics instructions but other than that and a few % more FPS, what do you guys expect visually from this?
Game physics will always be exaggerated and over the top, cause unless you haven't noticed real world physics is not all that spectacular, but in fact life has rather boring special effects.
