Whats the point of Resetting UGURU?

According to this, the thermal limit for a Q6600 is 71C. http://processorfinder.intel.com/det...px?sSpec=SLACR
My question is, is that with or without the majical 15C Tjunction thing? My current uGuru/Speedfan load is 65C. My Core Temp load is 80C. Which one of these should I compare to the 71C? I'm 95% sure it's the uGuru one, expecially since the Core Temp says something about a Tjunct max of 100C (but shouldn't it be 86C?).
Just have to say that im LOVING this board. Beats the hell out of my POS 680i. I wasnt able to get over 2.7 stable, im now at 3.6 4 hours prime and still going strong. Still have alot of tweaking to do, a bit of modification, but otherwise, im stoked Also wanted to say thanks to Th3Joker (For posting his settings) strange|ife for his settings and Ace-a-Rue for his settings![]()

One man wishes to reset the counter to sell mobo.Whats the point of Resetting UGURU?
not yet, but that man says than it's only reset bios not uguru-counters.have you tried it?...what results did you have?

I reduced the memory strap to 1:1 and still have random bluescreen crashes. For those of you running a Q6600@3.6Ghz, what all have you done? Next month I will buy another 40mm fan for my MCH, but I already have one on my PWM. It seems many people hit 3.6Ghz without doing these extra steps.
Still having issues.
EDIT: I'm sorry about the double post.
Ace your new avatar is _hilarious_.![]()
e8400 works very nicely on this mobo BTW.

Mods i have done to the board are...Just the bolt mod, posted by Ace-A-Rue, i have a 40mm fan on both the PWM and NB, I also have a 120mm fan pointed at the PWM cos i need to do some final adjustments to get it cooling right
I have a VID of 1.30, is that good?

According to Ace (the only person I've seen talk about VID), you have a good VID. Slightly higher than mine.
And I must have a "bad" board or chip. I just can't get 3.6Ghz stable, and my voltages are even slightly higher than yours.
Could you please share your temps and what you used to measure them?

Ace, I'm hitting a memory OC wall at max divider 1:2 at around 1225MHz. Memtest just locks up past that point. vMCH doesn't help, laxing sub-timings doesn't seem to help. Memory is not at fault, it's without a doubt a chipset limitation. Is there some known bug or setting that I may be missing?
Formerly XIP, now just P.
I got 2 gig Cell Shoch DDR2 1066mhz ram this morning. So i have been trying to get this thing to boot past 3.9ghz. Just above 3.9ghz windows starts to load and then I get a BSOD that says error in non paged area. It may be my voltages are too low or something else.
Could you guys suggest some voltage and other settings that I could try please?

Where are people reading their VID's from? In Coretemp iget 1.30 but in pc wizard i get 1.188?

Already done that but thanks for trying man. Ive got it to boot into windows @ 3.9ghz but had to bump the CPU voltage to 1.7ghz to get it there. I am now @ 3.8ghz but it still requires 1.6050v to boot into windows and run 3dmark 06 without rebooting or freezing on me. I have my ram settings set to auto with voltage set to its reference 2.3v (its written n the ram 2.3v). Windows wont boot up with the voltage on the ram any lower. I have the ram set to 1:1.2 and the CPU is @ 422 X 9
