Zow, how cool those chips run is almost as impressive as the speed. Where exactly do you live? When do you leave? Do you lock your doors?

Nice results there, what voltage do you need for 4.0GHz for Prime95 stability? Sorry if you've posted that but I've read through the whole thread and didn't see that.

I ask because I also have a very nice chip, perhaps not as good but still nice -- 1.392V load = 4500+MHz SPi 1M, 4400+MHz Wprime 32M on air. Haven't tried SPi 32M yet.

Indeed that is the plan, however to find the money for it is the problem. This chip cost me $1,275 AUD so I'm a bit low on "spare" money ATM.

Hehe , none of that near where I live I may just have to suck it up and pay out even more money on some WC kit, phase change is a bit too extreme for me at the moment! Can you believe I only ever originally (18 months ago) planned to spend $1250 AUD on this computer? And now I've spent more than that on a CPU You won't see me complaining, the OCing bug has well and truly got me

Just some more testing, 4.1GHz @ 1.272V ran prime for 15 minutes and then black screen Perhaps water will cure that

    Thumbs up

Just modified my cooling - sadly I have no access to my digicam yet - will post some pics later. Got me a HAILEA chiller and a 30l tank, 2 pumps and 2 seperate water loops, one for the chiller & one for the system. CPU & NB under water, SB & board get air each from one 120mm Papst fan.
Room temp was 21°C - chilled water at 12.8°C:

Core 2 reads wrong temps, stays always at 29°C - all other readings are O.K.

Care to share what speed you ended up on for 24/7 stability and the voltages to go along with it? If possible, BIOS screen shots would be much appreciated. I am upgrading to this motherboard from a different one, and hope to be able to get a better overclock. I am at 4.0ghz currently. Thanks.

Nice chip indeed, I have had a L740B and now have a L739B, both take almost 1.4 to do 3950 prime stable...
