I used a large butane torch and it was barely enough.
A propane torch might get you farther but I ended up using an Acetylene powered one to resolder properly.

so tomorrow i will try to find a suitable thing to use like the torch you used
is using extra heat to remove the soldering can damage the pipes ???

Why not make both of them so that they stand up, like the VGA idea. Then they would essentially be like other tower coolers like the TRUE. Then you could mount a 120cfm fan to each one and blow through out the rear exhaust. I think it would be more efficient than 2 different direction fans.

I thought about it but the real problem is that when your heatsink gets powerful enough you have a hard time producing enough heat without causing electromigration inside the CPU... if you want to keep the CPU for a meaningful amount of time that is![]()

Basically hes saying that the heatsink is so powerful, he needs to figure out a away to heat the thing up, with out cranking the CPU to 18 volts vCore![]()

Water has the same problem once you get a good enough setup. Getting the heat from the core to the heatsink/waterblock is also an issue.
