Asus Am2 Crosshair Results With Phenom 9600

This is the best I can get a Phenom running in the ASUS Crosshair MB with Bios 0905 Beta its stable but Sli is broken scores make no difference and with single 8800GTX Im only scoring 10,000 3Dmark 06 with Vista64.

I've just noticed your Everest memory latency...

You're running TBL Errata 298 BIOS patch....
Can you disable it in BIOS?

If not then use AOD magic button on the top right corner and make it RED..
It's not the same as disabling it from the BIOS, but still something

Hi Lightman no cannot disable it and I cant run AOD it gives error about running only on 790 chipset, hopefully next bios will let me disable it if its on.

Well look at this ran older version of AOD under XP disabled TBL thing and memory scores shot up compared to my first post mem benchies, not looking to bad for a non 790FX Mobo.

    Looks better now

Still not where it should be with Errata disabled. I will post my screen from Vista for comparisons

    Here it is:

    Memory 4-4-4-12

    Memory 5-5-5-12
    and Sandra

    Memory 4-4-4-12

    Memory 5-5-5-12

That is with Errata298 DISABLED . Also pay attention that 4-4-4 runs was with UnGanged memory and 5-5-5 with Ganged.

    Finally 3DMark06
This is CF run as shown on picture...
Errata298 kills a lot of performance from your RIG. Hopefully with proper BIOS your score will be at least on pair with mine..

Sad for me that all above scores means almost nothing because my CPU isn't stable above 2.4GHz under my XP x64
Luckily I will be swapping my Phenom to Black Edition soon

Now Everest is showing correct values
You can't set UnGanged mode on AM2 boards, you need AM2+.
Also for memory testing using SiSoft download latest SP1 version. It has multi-threaded memory test and numbers are substantially higher on Phenoms

Yes! I can set memory to 1066MHz from BIOS, but with HTT around 220MHz It's skyrocketing to 1.2GHz and that is where I can't get my Crucials to work fully stable
Besides 5-5-5 timings are killing performance....

With Black Edition Phenom It will be tweaker dream platform. I would then set HTT to 208-210MHz (memory ~1100 4-4-4) and CPU to higher multi, resulting in max. bandwidth and max. performance .

My Memory Bandwith scores are also higher even in Ganged mode (will be testing Unganged tonight after work):
    < Benchmark Results >
    Int Buff'd iSSE2 Memory Bandwith 8.95GB/s
    Float Buff'd iSSE2 Memory Bandwith 8.92GB/s
Results Interpretation: Higher index values are better.

    < Performance vs. Speed >
    Int Buff'd iSSE2 Memory Bandwith 11.46MB/s/MHz
    Float Buff'd iSSE2 Memory Bandwith 11.42MB/s/MHz
Results Interpretation: Higher index values are better.
