Well, I thought what the hell and tried the Supreme block on my new Asus P5K-E and what did I see?
It does fit both ways
So hereby confirmed that the P5K-E is no problem for the block, no matter which way you want to mount it![]()

It fits the "older " Abit QuadGT too, although it was close.
Clearance between plate and the mosfet cooler is about 1mm, maybe even less.
Installed my 6750 and mounted the block with the inlets horizontally.
On thursday, I'll mount the block with the inlets pointed vertically, and see if we get any difference in temps.

It would be nice to see some results with a pump other than an Iwaki .
D5 ,MCP355/DDC3.2 , something more along the line of a commonly used pump would clarify the performance of the block most of us can expect .

I second that suggestion but thats not to say I'm complaining about all the hard work and testings that had been carried out so far.
Also, I would liked to remind everyone that this block is NOT cheaper than the Fuzion (even with the nozzles's cost included) as previously mentioned

Nikhsub1 ,the Iwakis are the best WC pump made,no argument there. But I bet less than 5% of the WC crowd uses them. Dedicated PSU, and high cost of Iwakis are enough to scare all but the most extreme amongst us.
Unless I missed it zbogorgon did not mention the pump voltage used.
The best pump on the market might give skewed performance figure most people might wrongly expect to get from a restrictive block.
Just for reference sake it would be nice to see some numbers majority of us can acheive with commonly used gear...I'm just wondering if the Supreme's awesome performance will still be there or be near a bowed Apogee GTX or a FuZion + washer-nozzle kit.

You should read my results. GTX v Supreme tested with same setup, same ambient, same coolant, thermalpaste etc. A different pump may yield different results, but the supreme should still be consistently cooler. In theory...I'm just wondering if the Supreme's awesome performance will still be there or be near a bowed Apogee GTX or a FuZion + washer-nozzle kit.

Well I also tried the vertical mount, it results in 1, maybe 2 degrees c higher temps... nothing dramatical but for me I'm going back to the horizontal mount
Now I'm curious what temps Jupiler will get with his block... hope he lets uw know ASAP![]()

Looks like performance-pcs.com just got all the new EK blocks and accessories in yesterday. Given all the problems you guys are having with this block though, maybe I'll wait until there's a concensus on the fix for the plate/mounting issue. For the $70 asking price this thing should be damn perfect out of the box. Granted, we ARE riders of the bleeding edge with all this extreme overclocking-this and watercooling-that, so I can't get too upset, right?
I can't wait for the first EK / Fuzion / GT / GTX shootout!!

I'm confused Malik...in your earlier post, you were comparing a BOWED dtek's flow rate to the Supreme...
in the 2nd, you switched to a non-bowed, non-nozzled?
Sorry for that - i have wrong info.
Now is all ok and here are all results: LINK
for sure
numbers in that link are delta T water temp/cpu
Dtek is new from box, non-bowed non-nozzled
ttested on E6750 @ 3800MHz @ 1,45V
stressed with orthos for 30minutes, temp measure with coretemp
wc setup: BWA123UV (magicool 360mm uv radiator), swiftech MCP655, swiftech MCRES-Micro Res, tubes 10mm/14mm and Swissflow sf800
water temp was measure with TES 1314
thermal compound: AS5
each block was mount 4 times and on chart is best mount only
ps. sry for my poor english

Not necessarily questioning these findings, but would like to see some other people's results as well.
If I'm to put my results against these results, then the non bowed without nozzles fuzion is also quite a bit better than the GTX as well.
