I agree. It appears easynews has upped their output, most likely as a reaction to our increase. I think it just took a little while to do so.

We had a great day, our team is steadily improving. Let's not get discouraged by their numbers, rather let's celebrate ours. If our numbers are making them work harder then our team is achieving its goal of furthering the research.

50k for me today I guess thats where all my points are from the last few days. I have been averaging around 38k, but have been less than 35k for a few days. I was thinking that switching to the cancer units had dropped my points, but I guess it's just the slow quorum.

I got the opposite effect when I switched to cancer units. My points per day went up about 500 (2500 to 3000) and points per hour from 85-90 to 100.

I'm not sure how I did it, but I locked BOINC off the net - there's four completed units just chilling out here, and have been here for a day or two. :/

I did that intentionally for 4 days preceding Oct1 and think I had 1400+ to upload..That was a howl..Imagined their servers as 2 clovers, 10 Quads and a bunch of X2's dumped almost 4 days work..
Oh, they get that daily from DDT..

They probably had some tech maintaining the servers wondering what the **** just happened.

Also, turns out ZoneAlarm's "high paranoia mode" locked off essentially everything. It's cleared now.

    Mmm cisco IOS...

And Dave I remember that dump, it took the servers quite some time to catch up with the processing of the daily stats as I recall

Victor may do that many per day but at least he doesn't do it all in one go
