@Raptor22... to qualify to be on scorebord you have to be using an AMD CPU...

pslee if possible sell 8600gt and instead buying another buy outright a 8800GTS 320MB... 640mb verisions are not worth it too close to 8800gtx prices for not much gain!

So whens sum1 with a Amd/8800Ultra gona come out of the woodwork?!?

We will see. There are some cheap 8600GT on ebay/amazon, so that is more affordable than getting 8800gts/gt. I've also heard the new version is coming out for 8800gts. I don't want to spend $300+ for soon be EOL.

Yikes! You're getting closer and closer

SM2.0 Score seems a bit low in Vista, but everything else is very nice! What driver for that run??

All went well and I can show something now ...

This is overlay picture of what I'm playing with:

And this is first result from it:

According to ORB this is fastest AMD CF system on earth! (I know Phenom box is faster but we can't buy it for now )

As you can see cards was on stock clocks for this test.
I also needed second PSU for CF coz my OCZ 600W didn't liked powering all my stuff !
The run you see here reached 679W peek power according to my KillAWatt

    More to follow shortly...

Lucky for some Xmas comes early Nice score too i might add!!

Need some cable managment there ...

Put down for Xmas list also... An Antec Quatro 850W or 1000W... comes with 2 x PCIE 8 pin so you can get more OC from you 2900PRO's!!

But also these puppies stable as !!...

What were clocks on both GPU for this run? Ill tell you what ill update your score on the scorebord when you break 14K

Im gona hold out till the Asus 790FX comes out.. but not first rev with SB600 i want SB700...!! Reason be the SB600 Sata ports have issues with Blu/HD Dvds drives... with a 24'' 1080P screen this is a feature that cant be sacrificed... so i will have to make do with Crosshair then OC the outta my 6400

Thanks! Unfortunately second card is for my friend setup....
And TBH it sucks!! Only 1.1V vgpu and 770MHz core stable
Still I will try my best ...

It was nice and clean with cables before I decided to put second HD2900

My X-Mas will be very pure in terms of computer hardware coz I'm buying freaking HOUSE! To get some decent hardware I will need additional job !

Previous run was at stock XT clocks, but this is at 770/980 which is max stable core for weaker (new) card. BTW weaker card is Sapphire...

As you can see I will have hard fight for this update on score board but you can start preparing it for me now .

PS. SB700 should be on market around Q1/08 so still couple of moths of waiting ...

I bought my Crosshair for £130 delivered new so i guess Q1 2008 should be fine to get good use out of it then flog on ebay for £80++

Cant you get any more Mhz from you CPU?, you had 250x14 benchable on your last mobo!... more mhz would see you past 14K for sure!! Tell you mate he should of bought His Edition as they allways use in top end cards the best binned cores

With two cards seems performence boost is mostly in HDR1 sector! others not improved vastly..

In crossfire what temps you get loaded?, for highest temps i find Age of Empires 3 does the best 5-10C hotter then any thing else ive used!! 2 hour game im seeing 85C with one card is very well ventilated case

Because Sapphire is only 1.1vgpu I'm seeing around 75C @770MHz core, but obviously top card is hotter by 5-10C!

I will push CPU today, it was stable @3570Mhz 1.525V for SuperPi and general use. I just need a bit more time to tweak it properly...

PS. at around 2AM today, before I went to bed, I did 13992 run 06 and just to let you know that 3DM03 scored 61K+... Will upload SS later today...

    UPDATE:

    I DID IT!!!

    http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=3490119
It took me couple of hours of tweaking but finally I achieved my goal! My mem won't do more than 1020MHz stable and CPU 3520MHz looks like max stable on AIR.... No matter what I do, it won't go through 3DMark CPU test over 3520MHz (but will do SuperPI and other things) .....

    Now please update first page

Yes, I would prefer two HIS cards, but it still was a great fun!

Now I'm back to single card setup!
Next target is to hit over 12K on one card... Voltmod or not to voltmod....

    Nice run topdog !

What is your CPU cooling and stepping?

Also small hint! From my experience if you will lower tRC from 26 to lets say 15 you will gain between 30 and 120 Marks ...
