    For start at ONLY 5605MHz......

    I will NOT post higher than 5605MHz 3DMarks coz we have to do something in our Overclocking Event tomorrow.......

    Guy who did 4500MHz C0 step few days back had temps of around 52C idle (1.5V), so should be good for high end air cooling.

    common sense tells me that's probably phase. But I would really like it to be water.

    On single stage phase it can do ~ 5100MHz - 5200MHz....

    finnaly the cpu is going somewhere with the mhz so tired of 3ghz.

    that is what i have been wanting to hear.. . when are you going to post the 3-d benches? could you run futermark vantage sometime, I want to see how much the new instructions are used since there are de-coding tests.

    If quad core overclocks this great I wonder what dual cores will?

    I have been mainly interested in Yorkfield but I must say a Wolfdale would still get kinda interesting at that pricetag and especially if let's say the 9x model E8400 priced at $183 I think would allow a clock to around 4.5GHz stable on air for example lol.

    If they released an E8600 or E8700 with multi 10 and 11 then things would become very very interesthing in the 1M chalenge

    Wow, nice job. Gotta admit the new Intel cpus are looking great. Haven't seen one yet that hasn't gotten at least 4G on air. I can also run my old Baker 18 cooler on these and probably get over 5G. With the new gpus comming out it looks to be a great time to upgrade.

    If it runs 4600 on air and penryn has an app 10% advantage clock for clock over the Kentsfield then it's like having a Kentsfield at 5000mhz on air..
