1 thing epic did say that it looked better than gear's of war... i Still think gow looks a tad better...

How's the new mini-gun? It was my favorite weapon all the way from UT1-YT2k4 and I think I cried a little when they said they were going to replace it (not really ). Anyways, does it have the same feel as the old one?

I was shocked at how fast this game is. Even the titles and menus are super quick to go in and out of. It feels more like an arcade machine without the wait and lag of menus.

Crysis is a great game also but all the bugs amounts to fustration at the moment. I'm sure they'll be address by retail release however.

UT3 is extremely polished and a fantastic game. VCTF is so much fun - I just wish we could enable AA as I hate the jaggedy edges

Yeah, Redeemer is the best weapon in the entire series (besides the Ion Cannon, anyone remember the time where where there was a level it could actually be used?. Anyways, from the way you described the MG, it seems like it's improved. I always liked the Time Splitter version of the MG better and this will be even more powerful then that! As for the blue stuff, it would probably be more productive to just pull out a flak cannon since the b;ue stuff just makes you stick to walls (or so I've read).

...the game has no support for anti-aliasing. Not in hardware, not even on ATI cards.

This is proven true when I use nTune on my PC.

Whats your system? This demo is hell fast, but laggy tho. Stalker or quake4 loading times pisses me off, but at least UT3 demo is very fast.

The retail PC version definately needs to add in some better graphics options. The two POS sliders are a joke. Don't get me wrong, the graphics are still good, and gameplay is awesome, but come on, we waited 4 years for this, we need more!!! lol

i was amazed to see that someone would COMPLAIN about the speed of the load. i would love for all my other games to play and load this fast..

edit: also for all you XFIRE users out there disable the in game xfire chat crap and u will get your fps back up to the 60+'s.. xfire cripples ut3. i had great fps then next day i had 20-30. i was like NO WAY... disabled in game xfire for ut3 demo and it went back up to the normal 60+..

Xfire gets in the way of so many of my gaming experiences. It's great to see the server your buddies are playing on, but the stability problems it causes just aren't worth it.
