Don't have to check anything, just turn my head, look down the 30ft to the other room and I can see it's running!
WOW, is it me, or did dave just drop about 30 yrs in his age.

Dave you poping pimples as well? you said LED lights flashing is cool?

In all good fun. Im sure all of us that pitched in is VERY and i cant emphasize that word enough, HAPPY your in love with your new system. I cant think of a better guy who deserves a solid and well built system then you.

Keep pushing it! Once the QX9650 comes out, you'll see me in your rear mirror once again.

Update on the other 2 quads i have sitting at home. I decided to give them away to my cousins. It would take me a solid 20 hours to get them up. And honestly in that time i would make about 3x what there worth at my job. Also, i think im maxing out my breaker at the house. The last quad lead to me poping a breaker. So i dont want to tempt fate yet.

*sigh* why is it as you get older you have less time til you hit that big 65 when you can retire in piece. :T

May I have one? Please pretty please......

As far as the breaker popping, easy fix for that - add another breaker!
Or just hook some up to other circuits

I felt app 20 yesterday as I was upping the volts on that chip to 1.5625..
We'll maybe not, there was a slight dampening of the shorts as I did so!
Amazing piece of machinery and yes, I was like a kid again..
Now it got to 4005 so easily I posted in the Intel section asking who had the highest speed on a Q6600 on air and so far it looks like Pedro at 4220..
That's what I want to see next..Can I go higher..
I'll need some help to try that..Mr N00b here on memory timings..

i get compensated via slave labor for the quads. :P

My cousins are about 5-8 yrs younger then me. Just getting into the hobby. You should of seen them in my unused spare part box. They were like a bunch of paranas on a open feast season.

The only thing they didnt end up taking was a TT FAN. :T i wonder why.

I already have a 30A breaker on that switch. And im running a 30A outlet direct to the switch box. That poor outlet just says it cant handle anymore machines. What do you expect? it has 2 850W psus and 1 750W hooked up to it, with 3 UPS as brown protections.

Also my area has bad power. Its not the house, the whole neighborhood is crap. Its a nice area, but just really OLD.

    Dave,
I dont know much about the timings .. but on those ballistix .. I had them at

    CAS# Latency: 4
    RAS# to CAS# Delay: 4
    RAS# Precharge: 4
    RAS# Activate to Precharge: 12
    TWR: 3
    TRFC: 30
    TWTR: 3
    TRRD: 3
    TRTP: 3
    DRAM Static Read Control: Disabled

    Transaction Booster: AUTO
    Clock Over-Charging Mode: AUTO

    divider 4:5
    1000mhz @ 2.2v

killed that set in 6 months of wcg .. so you might wanna loosen the timings/sub timings a little and bring down the volts just to be safe.

    Dunno, no idea....

Dang maybe I don't want to upgrade my crunchers much more, I'm running almost all of them, plus my main rig, plus a microwave, plus a mini fridge, plus a coffeemaker on a single 20A circuit A couple crunchers are on another circuit to prevent popping the breaker - would be a little embarrassing to knock on my RA's door and ask to get my breaker turned back on

For your problem... Add another 30A circuit and breaker
