I might be wrong here, but I wouldnt think you'd need 2.3v for that mem. Its not even close to its ratings. 2.3 might do damage? Those micron d9?

    Someone correct me...

I was told orginally to run it at 2.2v, then today talked with the gentleman that donated them and he said 2.0v is fine and he'd tried them at up to DDR2-1200+

YOU DON'T Need 2.3V!!!! Dave seek counsel from Eric as he or someone with same board will tell you about Mem Overclocking and take it slow! Last thing I reach for is GO>>>GO ...Juice on anything ! That memory right there will do 5-5-5-12 @ 1200mhz @ 2.250vdimm but once again thats all Motherboard Dependant just like CPU Clocking.

4-4-4-10 @ 2.2vdimm is good for 1000mhz /1035mhz with that set of Ram with tight sub timings as well

I would not run any D9 modules at 2.3v for an extended period of time. Too many cases of memory chips going bad. For crunching 24/7, I would suggest 2.1v or lower.

I just turned it down to 2.0v and it was at 2.3V for maybe 5 minutes today.

Five minutes is no big deal. But I think VietOZ has lost 2-3 pairs of Ballistix. I run my pair at 2.0v. Haven't had any problems.

yup,the volts was just to see how high this would go.
For crunching I'm at 9X400 with cpu at 1.4125v and memory running at DDR2-800 at 2.0v..Timing set to 4-4-4-12

@Dave.......Drop you're Multi to X8 and leave you're Ram @ 1:1 for now this way you can get a increase on Memory /FSB Relation and pick up some speed which you will see and fee immediately

Ask Eric or one of the other guys what dividers place you @1066 strap and what ones bring you to 1333 strap Then once you get a tast of that added Bandwidth were gonna have you right where we want you....MUHHAHAH

ok, BUT listen.,.MOST of what I will do on that machine is WCG and that is pure mhz..I'd be better off bumping back to 3800 with the 9 multi I think..
That and getting a 64 bit OS in..That is next..Then we'll look at joining the 600mhz club!

Dave listen to these guys about those sticks. I have 3 pairs, and i burnt out two crunching. You also need some sort of active fan on them. It helps a lot.

But yeah, i wouldnt go anything higher then 2.1V for WCG.

Thats what I keep telling him! But you know Dave he feels obligated to Fold because guys from the team like him so much and think enough of him to send him a new Chew Toy

Now we are all gonna have to get him a new case and P.S.U so he can put his old daily back on line so it can Fold and we can Teach him how to get Sideways with his new Pimp Rig so he can be a big kid maybe even a Toys"R"us Kid if he tries hard enough
