    Yeah.
    Sorta sucks that you have to close it out and reopen it to see the new clocks.
    Definitely something I don't mind doing now but would be nice to see in a future update.

    Wow, I'm liking it! I guess this begs the question, why haven't we seen something like this before?

    And it appears to be picking up the Delta speeds for the shader clocks on the 7-Series cards? And why does it detect my bandwidth to be so high I wonder?

    Nice idea, looking forward to the improvements that allow realtime updates to clockspeeds

    Thanks for putting the effort in W1zzard!

    Okey updated my last post, and now I can confirm that the 0.0.4 version now detects 8800gts correctly, like they said in changelog:
    Fixed 8800 GTS, 8500, 8600 misdetection

    Okey, some improvments that I´d like to have in the future-versions of gpu-z:

    -real-time clocks (mentioned before)
    -temperatures
    -voltages if possible
    -new option: program shows the used OS (windows xp professional sp2 etc)
    -vmem latencies (in different tab would be better, otherwise it gets fuzzy and hard-to-read)

    thats for starters

    Downloaded newest 0.0.5 and everything is stable. Pretty cool prog...

    Some notes. I'd have liked it to show REAL clocks and not what's set on riva when oc'ing. Plus real time clocks would also be nice.

    0.0.5 will still not detect my monitor (and yes, I have the latest monitor .inf file installed).

    thanks for this nice utility

    seem like ver0.0.5 works fine for me on both platforms
    C2D E6850 /NF 8800 Ultra / P5K3 dlx/wifi/ap
    A64x2 4600+ / NF 7900GT / A8N32sli-DLx

    nice tool no big deal .. but ver 0.0.5 still does not report the realtime clock change .. i mean the readings/changes i see for example in (Lavalys) Everest Ult.4.xx - in overclock section - when i launch 3d perf mode ..

    ++ add /edit
    also there is a lil' difference in Gpu clock(Shader domain) readings -
    @my case oc with RivaT.2.05 - it reports Sh.dom. @ 1728mhz ( on my 8800UL ) - when overcloked 690/1188 , also same by everest .. with Gpuz 005 - show the value 1705 Mhz ..
    no problem but just for inf/feedback

    Sweet it now detects my clocks properly and has the ATI crossfire dropdown box instead of nvidia SLI. Has the right default clocks listed too and the right memory type.

    I thought the X1950 series was 80nm though, not 90nm? I'm probably wrong on that. And I thought it had 48 pixel shaders (or was it pipelines), not 16...
